I was at Beach Place Hotel for five days with my bestfriend to celabrate my birthday the hotel is not to far from South Beach there is a bus right across the street that will take down to south beach and the price that we paid for the room was pretty good. Would I go there again yes I don't have anything bad to said but that my stay there was very pleasent and the tours they offer are great also.
all reviews » I liked that it is so close to the beach,around five min acros the park. The north beach is much quite. The ocean is great. Even children can swim there. It is clean. Staff at hotel was also nice, polite and helpfull. It nice for family vacation. It is free parking there. But it is a bit far to south beach ...around 20min by car and 40 by bus. Pool area was nice & spacious with sun lounges & tables. Laundry was only $1 per load. Location was good (less touristy), short stroll to beach, 10-15 min walk to shops & some restaurants. Bus to South Beach & Downtown stops right out front, although it's a 30-40 min ride. Room had flat screen tv, fridge & microwave. After a month of business in the usa I took 3 days out for some liesure. I chose Beach Place for it's affordability and proximity to the beach. It had everything I needed. This was my first visit to Miami. I will remember it for the tropical weather and warm waters and Beach Place motel. Dont change anything!. The hotel is in a great location. 5 minutes walking to the beach. Free parking, nice clean pool, I love the room. Got a big closet,nice kitchen. Bathroom was nice and clean. This hotel was close to south beach and the price was great. I and the rest of my family loved everything about Beach Place,the staff was awesome,the room was clean and quite comfortable,the location was perfect! We are already planning our next trip at Beach Place Hotel :-d. Room was comfortable, bathroom clean. The kitchen annex was nice, and not even too small, but except for a sink and a small fridge, it had almost nothing. Wireless Internet worked flawlessly. Parking was easy. A nice place to stay with a lot of places to go within walking distance. A very short walk to the beach - one block to Collins, then about the same distance again through a park and you are right on the ocean. My expectations were exceeded by this 2 star motel. I was pleasantly surprised! It is quiet, has a huge pool, a mini fridge in the room, and is clean. We had a rental car and there was ample free parking!. The motel was very clean and comfortable. I would certainly use this Motel again if I was to be in Miami Beach. Close enough to see the Deco area but away enough to be lower price. The location is great- near the beach as well as restaurants in surfside and north Miami beach. The kitchenettes are great to have. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's a very clean pleace, with nice and helpful staff and located in front of a very quiet natural beach. They clean the room and provide coffe daily. Good hotel. I liked everything in the hotel. Especially the free parking, the kitchen in the room and area to store your bags and bags of purchases. Gave tremendous way!. Bed & pillows weren't that comfortable - bed was caved in & pillows too flat. I would recommend asking for a room on the top floor towards the back - floor was creaky so you would hear people above if on ground level. For safety, families should ask for a room where entry is not on side-street. Leaving Miami and heading back to the cold winter of New Zealand. Only thing I didnt like was that we had to leave. I would live at Beach Place :-d. I had to pay some extra charge for the electronic safe in the room, but it was locked and the staff was unable to unlock it for me. Not a big problem though. I knew it was not on south beach so I'm not mad about the location, but future guests should use a rental car. It's 20 mins north. The pool wasn't heated, very very cold getting in. The pool could have been cleaner. But we used it anyway. It's far from city centre (South Beach and Miami) but there's a bus stop just in front of the hotel and buses are running constantely. ADVICE: remember, if you're not from USA you will need an adaptor to charge your electronic devices!. Wireless internet access with many deficiencies, perhaps because the room was a bit far away from reception. Should think of improving this aspect. The rooms decorating was old fashioned but other then that it was good. outside doors. No place to hold soap in shower, didn't feel 100 % safe at night, no store on area. My room was on the side of the hotel facing the street. no cafeteria near by. It's not the hotels fault but someone put a baby's diaper in the pool (nasty), caused me not to use the pool. The staff was informed. Bathroom is quite poor and subject for renovation, location is good for these money, but South Beach is still unreachable by walk, so you need to count on bike/car rentals or public transport. old looking hotel!. price. But you need more people to do the work at the office. One person can not do the hard work that customers gives you. It is frankly upseting to be there when 2 or 3 customer comes and the phone rings and the post opffice comes, etc, ect. Good luck. They gave us a non-smoking room, but it was full of smoke smell. The power lines. Strong smooth of medical cure. price?. The water in the pole. Dirty. Not close to any restaurant, need to use car or other form of transportation. The first room was damp, and smelly, so we were moved to near the pool which was better. The bathroom in both rooms were old fashioned, they need to be modernised. the staff could have been more inviting. the blinds in my room wouldn't open. the noise from the busy road in front of it...you can not hear the ocean. I had temperature when I arrived so I wanted to check in early" the receptionist gave me three different versions of why I had to pay more to check in early. In the end just paid as I was sick and just wanted to sleep. Aside from this had a great stay. It is a bit expensive for being your run of the mill motel. Too far from all the action at south beach. MMrf men by pool. The shower head did not work properly for the first 2 days of a 3 day trip. Other than that wall was good. bed uncomfortable and bathroom way to small.. mirror to small in bath room. When booking, it mentioned kitchenette, but it was not there when I got the room. Hotel operator said they had WiFi and they don't. I was there for 2 nights in 2 different rooms, both of which were to have WiFi and neither did. Staff is useless and indifferent. 2nd room had no mirror in the bathroom. ratty bedding.
