The staff was very accommodating relative to our early AM departure by providing breakfast ahead of stated normal start time.
Also very much appreciated the entire facility being smoke free. -
We were traveling so the location was important to us.

The front desk staff was great and the ladies in the restaurant really
worked very hard but we waited a long time for coffee and orders to be
taken. They are understaffed and it realy showed. -

I'll get to the motel - but my most important experience was with
the front desk. I believe the man's name was Raji* (*but I
can't recall for certain). Someone hit my car in the parking lot,
and unfortunately, Raji* had to wake me up in the middle of the night -
but as far as I know, if it weren't for him, I could've been
the victim of a hit &

Over the past 9 years we have made 2 trips from Fl. To ny every year and
stayed at several chain motels. We only wanted a place to sleep and be
on our way very early in the morning. Southern Inn was by far the best
of the low cost motels. Very clean, and let me say my wife can be picky
but i'm not about to pay $100 plus for a place to sleep. The carpet
was clean, bathroom to and everything looked freshly painted. Pet
friendly at $10. They are right off I-95 with several choices locally to
eat.
