We loved the new, large and very clear picture windows. We could sit and
watch the ocean from the comfort of the family room when it was cold and
rainy outside. And we could also open two smaller windows to hear the
ocean. Fantastic.

The room was perfect, the facility was extremely clean, especially for
being an older building,our daughter lost her IPod outside and the
groundskeeper found it, the Westshore called us right away and mailed it
home for free! This isn't a fancy hotel and spa with a ton of
unnecessary amenities that jack up the price, it was simple and nice and
had everything we needed with a great rate, I highly recommend the
Westshore .

The view was incredible. Leaving the windows open allowed us to enjoy the melodic surf during the day and all night. The staff was very accommodating - one of the maintenance personnel even helped fix a broken mirror on the car with duct tape. For the money, this was an incredible value. The room was clean and we were able to get in a bit early which was really helpful. The continental breakfast was very good. Great variety and good food! The view was fantastic, staff were friendly. We have been here before but it has been quite a few years. I remember now why we always chose the Nordic.:)

Being located on the Hwy 101 we were first concerned about noise, but the double windowpanes and possibly good insulation of the walls provided a very quiet night -
The staff were friendly and helpful ,and for the money we were more than impressed. If your not worried about looking at the ocean, it's a real bargan.

We liked that you have upgraded and older hotel to feel almost new. The front office staff were very friendly. We really liked the continental breakfast and access to coffee/tea at any time. The little things make a big difference in how you feel about a place. The room décor was very simple but tasteful not tacky like the next place we stayed in. The bed linens were nice quality.

The staff and people staying at the Looking Glass were exceptionally nice and helpful! Thought we might have to change rooms due to I'm somewhat allergic to dogs and this is a very pet friendly place, but it all worked out just fine, and the room didn't bother me. Was great leaving the windows open and being able to hear the sounds of the ocean! Lovely place!! The beds were sooo comfortable too.
