  The location in the Garden District was within walking distance of the lovely antebellum mansions and great restaurants. The streetcar was right outside our door. It was a 20 minute ride to the French Quarter. The neighbourhood was quiet after the noisy hustle and bustle of all the sights of downtown New Orleans.and safe for an morning stroll. The... what people say » hotel grounds were beautifully landscaped with 2 pools to relax in at the end of the day. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return in a - We booked at the Avenue Plaza at the last minute because our reserved hotel room elsewhere had a broken pool. For $10 more a night, the amenities were more than doubled. We were so happy with our stay at the Plaza I will book there every return (business) trip. It is worth not "shopping around" to stay there.

  This was the most beautiful Hotel. The service was above excellent. The staff were so friendly and catered to your every need and the breakfast is out of this world. If it was a ship it would be just like the titanic. Would definetly recommend. Conviently located to everything. Cant say enough wonderful things about it.
