I'm not sure why this hotel doesn't get better reviews. My
girlfriend and I stayed for two days and had a great experience. The
staff was friendly, the location was great, room was clean and updated.
We stayed in room 404, which I highly recommend. There was a private
full balcony off the room that provided a complete unobstructed view of

Terrific suite with fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Welcoming
and helpful staff. Convenient parking, although daily charge of $25 plus
tax seemed a little high. Good continental breakfast, with fresh fruit,
pastries, and bagels, bread, preserves etc. Great location for walking
to Fishermans Wharf etc, or the great value bus into the city.

Beautiful hotel in the best location. The rooms are very clean and the staff is amazing. The hotel is located by really nice cafes and great restaurants, although I would stay away from the Italian restaurant right next door. Bad service and not very good. On the other hand, the cafe/bakery on the other side of the entrance is really good. -

First time in a 'Boutique Hotel' setting, was amazing, very charming, friendly, convenient to everything, trolley directly outside hotel....restaurants, cafes, shopping, all within walking distance, or hop on trolley. Was very quiet, slept wonderfully. Decor quaint & beautiful. Bed comfy, water pressure great. Bkft included was good & filling. Cannot say enough great things about this adorable hotel. Hotel was like an Oasis off the busy Lombard St. Get a courtyard facing room and its very quiet. We initially had a street facing room which was loud but not unbearable, especially later on in the evening. Staff at the hotel did offer us earplugs if we needed them. The entire property is lovely and maintained well. The room was pristine
and charming. I wish we had been off the street in the courtyard, but
that is something we will do next time we come into town. The parking
was a huge bonus and the proximity to the bus line made it possible to
