The staff at the Comfort Inn was exceptionally friendly. More specifically, we greatly appreciated Sheena's warm smile greeting us upon check-in and each morning. She, as well as all of her coworkers did an excellent job of making sure our visit was an enjoyable one. Everything was perfect. We were treated well. Whenever a concern was brought up the staff handled it immediate. Perfect location, perfect staff. Can't wait to come visit again.

We loved staying there! Our room was clean and large..beautiful decor! The breakfast was delishioush! We had an ocean view that was to die for!. Friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere, breakfast. Convenience of location close to beach as well as restaurants and shopping centers. Approx. to landmarks, shopping, restaurants. The personnel at the hotel were very friendly. Our room was excellent. The view was amazing and the staff and hotel breakfast was great. Location was ideal for our one night stay in this area. Breakfast options were good. The view from our room was breath taking . Reservation couldn't be found by front desk, even with the confirmation number I supplied, so I was asked to go to a computer and print out my reservation (through letsbookhotel.com), and return, even though it was 11:00 pm and I had driven 6 hours to get there and had family waiting in car. By the time I had done that, she had finally found my reservation on her own!. There was nothing that we did not like!. Having only one elevator. The pool was filthy--my husband had to clean it the first two days we were there. I'm very disappointed by this because we were staying there for our honeymoon and should not have to clean a pool that we are paying to use. Hotel is a bit run down and rooms could use a renovation. That being said, we would stay here again if we visit the area. It was a little noisey , the door let a lot of light in at night ..... Could hear people above us drinking and swearing. Steps and ramp betwen lobby and first floor elevator are not really safe/helpful for those who are mobility challenged. This is not the first/only facility in the area that does not adequately address handicapped accessibility. Maybe update balcony. Paint, have a small table. Rail was a little wobbly. We didn't like all the dogs we saw in the building. Some even took dogs into the cafeteria. My husband even itched in the bed at nights, so we wondered if there were perhaps fleas in our room. Only complaint we were on motorcycles (no room to bring beach towels with us) and couldn't get beach towels from front desk. air conditioner was very loud and rattled all the time. also we were right next to the elevator and it was very noisy. Heater in room is too loud. More room needed between bed and wall. (Room 300). the structure showing it's age...but they are in the process of renovation. Elevator issues, street view was terrible. I realize that an ocean front hotel is hard to maintain however, when I booked the room the hotel staffer informed that the rooms were newly renovated.... not so much... bathroom was in need of work.. looks like they may have installed a new vanity but the chaulk and tile was really disgusting... also, we are not adverse to paying for quality... this hotel is a bit overpriced for off season. The ramp/stairs to the elevator was terrible. Carpet on the ramp was torn and dirty. The elevator was dirty until somebody spilled scrambled egg in front of it and it had to be cleaned up. The beach access was down the back stairs and through an unlocked door on the rear side of the building to the ramp to the beach. Construction in hotel. Very narrow stairway to elevator and never would have been able to use if handicapped. Room carpet was wet. Would not walk around room without shoes on. I didn't like the room, door locks didn't function properly. Room was adveritsed as ocean viiew but was only a view of dunes. Very disappointing. The stairs and ramp leading to the elevator were bad. Stairs were too far apart to be comfortable and ramp too steep. Elevator could be cleaner. Too many dogs. Didn't know when I booked it was "dog friendly" . Waking up at 5:00am by dog barking not my idea of a good vacation. Was clean, but old and run down for the price-decking to and from beach needs replaced. Housekeeping did a very poor job. door was hard to open and close, people rent ocean view for the ocean view,so have the windows clean,I cleaned the window,and when I booked this room it looked like A hot tub in A corner with mirrors around it,,I sent A E mail to confirm it and never received nothing back from any one. I didn'T make A big deal about it,it was our 41st anniversary. The room was very small and the beds were uncomfortable and very small for 2 people. I initially reserved a king room, but when I changed my reservation from 3 nights to 2, I was forced to take a standard room. Very pricy for less than good quality.
