The pool was heated which was fantastic, the concierge was great - webooked an adventure day on a catamaran with parasailing, jet skis andsnorkelling plus an afternoon on board a fishing boat where we were theonly "guests" whilst sipping on Mango Smoothies by the poolside - howmuch better can it get? - Wonderful experience all around.

We loved everything! It was beautiful, with lush tropical landscaping
around a lovely pool and hot tub, reclaimed brick pathways and calming
white wood inside and out. I wanted to sit on the verandah sipping mint
juleps, though the complimentary chilled white wine from the reception
happy hour was just as good. Conrad and the other staff we met were very
pleasant, and the brown bread and boiled eggs at breakfast were much
appreciated after the sugary offerings in other hotels on our trip.

The Truman Hotel is perfectly located (and very easy to find-just head all the way down the US1-it'll be on your right eventually) 2 blocks (under 5 minutes stroll) from Duvall St. The hotel looks stylish in a Key West Art Deco way; the staff were efficient if not overly friendly; the room was very well appointed (we were on a balcony overlooking the pool) and the pool side was a great place to breakfast. The staff was fantastic! Always genuinely friendly and happy! The location was away from all the noise on duval but still close enough to enjoy a night out. The views were beautiful and the pier was my absolute favorite. A nice option to avoid the noise at the pool if you want to relax. -

The staff was wonderful -- very helpful with recommendations and reservations! The house was charming, the location great and the breakfasts very good with lots of healthy choices. The air conditioner in our room worked well and felt wonderful when we returned to the room after a full day of activities. It was very hot and humid when we were there.
