The reception staff was extremely professional, friendly and helpful; rooms were very clean, well-furnished and very. The breakfast exceeded continental standards by far. The assorted bagels, cereal and yogurts was individually wrapped and the milk in individual containers as well as variety in condiments. The bathroom was superbly fitted which had a very large and powerful shower. The pool area was spotless. I will definitely be returning.all reviews
Excellent reception staff. Good size room in clean and fresh decorative order. Included a continental breakfast which was well laid out and refreshed as needed. Convenient for a delightful part of Houston - yes, really! - the Rice University area and magnificent Hermann Park.
The hotel was generally ok. Staff were helpful and it was usually clean. I believe the location was quite central based on the places I had to visit during my stay.
A good choice for the price it has. Clean, well located and quiet, although it is on highway side.
Location was real advantage....many shops and resturants around. Gallaria Mall 7 Minutes driving.

The bathrooms were not as clean as I expected.
Toilet was small, round bowled and the water level in bowl was so close
to the seat that I had to sit with one leg pushing up to keep my
testicles from being in the water. Need taller seat.

Trash can in the room still had trash in it when I got in the room. The desk was sticky from spilled soda. Hot water kept going to cold during shower.
We had some problems getting on line, but eventually sorted it out. The floor was filthy.
There is a door to next room. I can hear the noise from neighbors at night.

noise was very bad, did not sleep well, valve on shower was so tight my
wife could not turn on or off or adjust water.
Too Expensive even with the 'hike' for the OTC show. If you're going to put the prices up at least have proper Cutlery & Plates/Bowls! Using plastic everything was aweful! Breakfast, shall we say, Limited. Wi-Fi poor & rooms pretty basic. Can't see me going back.

The elevator is extremely dangerous. It malfunctions regularly (6 times
while I stayed there!!!), and is a huge hazard to all guests. Also,
there is very outdated carpet and other infrastucture. The staff was
fine, but the hotel as a whole needs dramatic improvement in many areas.
If not, good luck staying profitable. I'm very very dissatisfied
with the money I spent for this dump. I will not stay again or recommend
it to anyone, unless proper measures have been taken.
Facility is dated and run-down. Not quite ratty but close.
