  Concierge was awesome, live music very good, coffee lady was so sweet, cleaning staff was nice and friendly, bartender and drinks at Mac 24/7 were great. - We liked the quite room and the hotel service. The MAC/24 served top of the line meals. The view from our 36 floor Ocean View balcony was terrific.

But then, hostels and the global traveli - I stayed 5 nights at the hostel and it was great! Roommates are from different places of the world and most of them are very friendly and I made a lot of friends there. It was October and not so noisy as I expected in the night, which was good, and it was fairly convenient and economic for a backpacker to stay. Mostly importantly, the location was extremely good and it was just a couple of minutes to the beach.

  We only stayed one night but what a night it was, a memory to last a lifetime . Halekulani was indeed a tranquil oasis in the midst of the Waikiki bustle. True to its name of "our house befitting heaven" - The staff was superb. The food was excellent and the setting tranquil, yet right off the main Waikiki drag.

  Free shuttle to and from airport is great. Our room was neat and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Liked the fact that there was a laundry room on our floor ( we did one load of wash), and for future reference noted the microwave, empty refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Also liked that there was a stamp machine and an atm machine available. Seems like a lot of - We stayed for one night before continuing on with our vacation. Loved the size of the hotel, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, nice room, lovely pool area. Enjoyed walking in the area and going to Byron's. We would definately stay here again and will highly recommend it to our friends. We walked thru the Best Western but preferred your hotel, less busy and more personal and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Service was excellent - very friendly, polite and attentive (and continued this way after my stay when I left my sunglasses behind).   i liked being close to the shops and the beach - Yes - Waikiki is not really my favourite kind of place, but this hotel was excellent as a place to stop for a night close to the airport (30 mins and 9 dollar transfer on shuttle)

  We liked the price and that the rooms were spacious. We loved having two balconies and that the room had dishes and a kitchen if we wanted to cook.   When we arrived at approx 7.30am and found out check in wasn't until 3pm, we couldn't have been treated better, they told us to head up to the full buffet breakfast and to enjoy all of it on them, they gave us pool towels so we could use the pool or head to waikiki beach, they looked after all our luggage,and although we had to wait to almost 3pm ... what people say » for our room it was definitely worth the wait, our room was on the top floor with a absolutely fantastic view. Couldn't fault the customer service we - We stayed in an ocean view suite on the 21st floor. We actually had a view of the ocean and the mountains from our room which was really nice. The rooms were updated and very clean and the staff was very helpful. The location was convenient to everything!!! We were a block away from the beach, and the Beach walk shopping area was right downstairs from the hotel. There was plenty to do in the area and we did not need a car. I would definitely stay here again.
