The cleanliness of our room and efficiency of the maid services were excellent. Comfort and size of room was excellent however the sofa bed was slightly unstable. Plenty of extra sheets, lightweight blankets and mattress were available. Maids would not only vacuum every second day, they also washed and dried all towels for us. The view we had on level 16 of the ocean was great and were able to watch the sunset. Penthouse facilities such as BBQ and pool were very clean and sufficient. Overall l.
all reviews » Simple, clean. Unit needs updating but it is sufficient. Nice to have the washer/dryer as I worked out alot and it was great being able to wash clothes. A half block away is the running path along the canal which was excellent. The building is very secure and you have free parking which is key in Waikiki as this can be very expensive. There are plenty of markets and coffee shops around and the beach is 3 blocks away. If you don't rent a car the buses all stop just around the corner and you can . I tuely enjoyed my stay at the Waikiki Beach Condo's it was very affordable, clean and comfortable. Staff was Very Friendly I never had a problem getting ahold of staff if I needed something, I read in others comments that they did because of there not being a front desk but like I said whenever I called I was able to reach someone. I loved the rooftop pool and the remodeling they are doing looks great! I will for sure be booking with them again on my next visits to Waikiki. Great Job guys, Mah. We loved this place. Our room was all we could ask for and more. Staff was great. Everything was clean. The staff we met were friendly. We got upgraded without charge. Close to shopping and food. I recommend the International Market Place for food & shopping across the street from Kuhio St. Bargains. For groceries go to Food Pantry for groceries on Kuhio. All the amenities it had to provide...really good value for money...we booked it in the middle of our vacation so we could clean our clothes in the washing machine and dryer...which saved us some money and also the fully equipped kitchen also helped...and free parking as well as most of the hotels charge 20 - 25 dollars daily... This was a very spacious accomodation and included a full kitchen and designated parking spot which are rare in Honolulu. The staff was extremely helpful and allowed us to stay well beyond the noon check-out time. We were very pleased and will stay here again. The condos were very secure. Views were phenomenal. It was great to have a full kitchen as well as a washer/dryer. The price was quite reasonable for the location. The pool and bbq facilities on the roof were nicely maintained and a very pleasant surprise. Location is excellent relative to Waikiki beaches (two to three blocks from condo), restaurants, Food Pantry and other shopping. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Staff was helpful and friendly but very hands-off. This place is great value for money, perfect location. Spacious, all the conveniences of home. Comfortable. Lovely free coffee and chocolates on arrival. Late checkout, reasonably quiet. Would definitely stay again. unit had marble floors, granite countertops, full kitchen, extra large lanai with table and chairs, fantastic views, washer & dryer in unit and to top it off FREE parking. There was no hair dryer, I had to go out and buy one. The maids were banging on the door at 8am which wasn't appreciated. The only thing I can say is my room was not yet completely remodeled but I believe they were ready to finish it after my stay. So everything should be finished for my next stay or yours. I do hope they get new beds as well. There is no front desk. But checking in was no problem. One will have to use your own ingenuity to get info. But there all those tourist magazines all over. nothing much to complain about as it is value for money...you can say a bit old structure but most of the buildings are old in Hawaii as we stayed in ambassador also for one night... Nothing. We would not change a thing. It appeared that some upgrades were only partially complete. For example, the tiles were beautiful and the cupboards and bathroom vanity looked great. Unfortunately, a bathtub past its prime and a poorly installed window air unit took away some of the luster. Unfinished, exposed wiring hung in the hall. Generally, negative features are merely cosmetic and should not stop anyone from booking this property. Our condo was a bit worn (well used) and, although clean, was not spotless. We did not have a view of the ocean, but that was not a big deal for us; we could see Manoa Valley and the mountains. It's completely self sufficient, so no maid service except bed making every second day. Impossible to contact staff if you need help. Our cot was broken but we were unable to contact anyone to replace it. We didn't mind being left to it but other travelers may prefer more hotel like facilities. For us it was fantastic! Would definitely stay again. liked everything. Sometimes Wifi didn't work. Building and decor is looking tired . limited views from lanai . Only 1 key between 3 guests. Bedding configuration not as expected. Rooms can use a little updating. The instructions for using the facilities left a lot to be desired. check in was a little confusing, and getting a parking spot they said i did not have to reserve was not the easiest to get once i arrived. i would get one before you arrive. The condo was nice, but it could use a bit of updating. . Back sliding door did not lock. Bath tub wouldn't drain properly. The sleeper sofa and roll out bed were old and extreemly uncomfortable. Internet very inconsistent, Staff not accessible. the furniture is old. Called about broken knife never received replacement Dishwasher was noisy No ocean view available. I don't like the bikers, it's too noisy. No information in the apartment about local tours, restaurants or important phone numbers, such as taxi'S. Room was small and pull out bed was uncomfortable. Elevators were slow as well. Very noisy city. poor quality interior and furniture; the aluminium sliding door did not function propoerly; the aircon is very noisy; none of the curtains work properly! although Wifi is free but it was very unstable; cleaning ladies were not professional; 2 of the 6 days we stayed there, we experiences water supply cut in the morning....to sum up, it is like an average apartment in a third world country!. It reminded me of a refugee camp! If you look at the building from the outside you would not go in! The lift looks like a padded cell, the lock on the door did not work! Had to insist on a key to the second lock as it was not provided. It is noisy, out dated, has a dirty feel about it! Feels unsafe.
