The hotel was immaculate, the staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. Everything was great!!!! My husband and I have traveled frequently, and this is one of the nicest hotels we've been at inawhile. Last year we stayed in the same area and paid over $300 for a similar room, and you can't even compare it to the Best Western. We will definitely be staying here again!! I think the room even saved us some money, because we were visiting the casino but enjoyed our room and the Jacuzzi .
all reviews » First off, I'm really picky on hotels, and was a bit nervous about staying here because it was under $100 per night. From the time I stepped into the door, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable about their jobs and the area. The area is beautiful - I even saw a deer in the field next to the hotel. It's definitely in a good part of town also. The rooms are well kept and the cleaning staff is courteous. I extended my stay from 1 week to 2 weeks, and the staff honored my original price. I woul. The room was very nice and very clean. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. One of the gentlemen behind the desk even pulled up a menu on his computer from a new restaurant in the area and let us look at it. The pool was great for our daughter and the location was perfect. Hershey Park was only 2 turns and a few miles away! We will definitely stay here again!. The attendant at the front desk was extremely pleasant, friendly and helpfull. The hotel is newly renovated as the Best Western. The room was very nicely decorate and comfortable. Everything, room, bath, breakfast area and lobby were clean and fresh. The location is great for a visit to Hersey or the Hollywood Casino. They accommodated us last minute and the staff was very professional. The location was excellent to Hershey park. Pet friendly was a plus. we really liked the employees they were so helpful when we had a problem and immeditaly fixed the problem. i know i will stay here again. No phone book in room. We had to return the one we used back to reception desk staff. Everything else was good and hotel was very clean. Great pool, nice breakfast offered in the A.M. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the hall way leading to rooms smell a little and are extremely hot. When you enter your room it is clean and cool. I love the large fridge in room. The bathroom was reag clean wich is important when you stay in hotels. The pool allowed us to cool down the day after we went Hershey Park. The waffle maker during breakfast was easy to use and the batter was better than expected. I would definitely stay again. The selection of snack foods was almost no existent. The median on the road made turns more than a mile away. Overall the Best Western was overpriced for the service provided. It's close to the place where we want to go, and also it close to main road and convenient for going to store. Location was good rooms were spacious fridge and microwave were appreciated. I liked the location. It was close to Hershey Park. The only thing we didn't like is that the room didn't get cool enough for our taste. The air conditioner shuts off at a certain temperature and we couldn't put it any lower. There was a littly touch up finish work going on near the entrance that was in the final stages. I think the hotel needs a little tlc. Towel rack in the bathroom coming off the wall. Shower head leaking. Carpets a little dirty. I didn't understand why the ac in the lobby wasn't on. there is nothing bad to say!. Staff and employees used the handicap parking spaces as it was closer to front entrance. Staff and employees should be instructed these spaces are for handicap guests and not for their personal use. Noise in the morning as our room was close to the breakfast area. Nothing. AC did not Stay on Elevator did not feel safe Razor-thin walls (Not Sound Proof). They need to get another waffle maker for the breakfast buffet, had to wait in line for about 10 minutes to use it. Other guest were rowdy up until 11pm and kids were running up and down the hallways at night. Breakfast area was vastly undersized. I think the pool area needs to be upgraded! It doesn't look very nice!!!. Nothing I didn't like. nothing. Poor directions from the staff, ended up going way out of my way. Breakfast...need more options for breakfast. nothing. Can't think of anything. no dislikes. Noisy because many young children were staying there. Not the worst thing. We had young children once too. pool was supposed to be heated but was cold need more waffle machines maybe offer pancakes also. location off I-81. Only the pool because was a little bit dirty. Pillows. the breakfast area was way too small for the amount of sleeping rooms available. Booked Super 8, but it was really Best Western. A bit confusing at the time of arrival. Overall better air conditioning would have been great. The breakfast area was a little small and at times it felt like you were rushed so that others could grab a seat, when you have small children this is not easily achieved. The waffles had a long line most times, so I would suggest investing in one more. We had a situation with our reservation where we booked one room for 4 adults and 2 small kids. Booking indicated 4 max but we didn't counted the kids since the policies indicated that we can pay for addittional beds for kids. The staff member was very rude and not willing to help us to resolve the misunderstanding. The hotel needs to provide a "good manners training" to your staff!!!. The breakfast room too small, and it too crow!. *Staff was not very personable *rate on letsbookhotel.com was not honored for both nights $119 for Thursday night and went up to $139 on Friday. Hotel overbooked, was asked if I would accept a queen instead of a king. Did not feel I had a choice. Smallest "queen" ever. Put in handicap room...No Bathtub! Now I know you cannot assume there is a bathtub!. I was told my room was cleaned but the sheets were not changed because they had sand in them. Then the room they moved me to had a bathtub that was not clean and when I returned from Hershey Park my room key no longer worked and needed to be recharged. The key stayed in the car.
