I enjoyed the old charm of the building and rooms. The lobby and adjoining rooms were trully opulent with beautiful floors, display cabinets, working fireplaces, chandeliers, and heavy wood casings. I enjoyed that while they updated the rooms for electronics, and overall saftey, they kept the room as it would have been in 1949. It is close to the

The surroundings, hotel, staff and most especially the food was phenomenal! My husband and I enjoyed a 3-hour dinner!!!!!!! We have a 4 year old son at home, so this was our weekend get-away-- we most definitely WILL be coming back! thank you for a memorable weekend!
