  Even though the facility itself "looked" dated, the room was exceptional. I liked the Temperpedic mattress and the headboard "made" the room. It alone gave the room more of a "luxury" feel. The room truly was spacious. Oh, and I loved the hard floor instead of carpet. The hotel is convenient to just about everything one would need. And one last ... what people say » thing, the staff were exceptionally professional and friendly. I will definitely consider this hotel the next time I am in the area. - We loved our stay the staff was super sweet (they even played with our little one and let her ring their bell lol), our room was clean and kept clean our entire stay. I also love that the rooms have bamboo (a nice faux wood type) floors instead of carpet. It took us less than 5 minutes to get to the beach. There was a strip of nice shops just down the road and it was about 8-10 minutes to Destin Harbor Walk and beaches. For a budget friendly hotel, it was great!
