  It was nothing fancy. Just a good place to put your head down at night. Pretty close to wine country and definitely good for your budget. It gave us more money to spend on wine! Liked that they at least had little fridge and microwave for our restaurant left overs. Had no problems requesting a blow dryer or late check out. The owners are very nice... what people say » and courteous. - Arriving at after 12am on my way to San Diego from north Orange County, the staff was super friendly and even wished me happy birthday. Easy to find right off the freeway. Hotel room was clean and comfy. I Would stay here again!

  It's quiet, safe, well maintained. Very nice grounds, even the public trash cans are kept emptied and clean. Beds are "to the floor" so no hidden trash or dust. Mattresses are enveloped in thick flannel "bags", not just a mattress cover. Plenty of pillows rain-type shower heads are nice and high. Strong wi-fi signal, flat screen on the wall, frig ... what people say » and microwave. My best kept secret! Motel Meridan is locally owned and operated, and that means folks there really care about the facility and service - This met all our expectations of the many great reviews we had read. The beds were very comfortable, everything was spotless and the breakfast was great. Great value for your dollar and a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. It was also a safe and quiet environment. Thank you, we even stayed one more night it was so good.
