This hotel is very nice, the staff was great, and the free breakfast was very good. Even though you have to walk across the street to get to the beach, it was not a problem. The gulf view from our room was great !!! On the 8th floor and will request to be that high the next time we go back. Maid service always made animals out of the towels and my granddaughter loved them. Planning to go back in the future.
all reviews » Nice big shower with glass doors. Large spacious room. Great view of intracoastal water and Clearwater. Great internet connection (and free!). Easy parking right under hotel (first 3 floors of hotel are parking). Rooftop bar has amazing view of beach and sunset (including a free round of shots at sunset time for all patrons) and is a very happening spot in town!. The hotel was reasonably priced for the area. The room was comfortable and had a nice view of the marina. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking at the view. It was conveniently located in the center of an area with shopping, restaurants, the beach, all within walking distance. We loved walking on the beach walk. The hotel has a fantastic location close to the beach. We were here to see the dolphins and had a great welcome and the parking etc is perfect. The Bar on the top floor to see the sunset is a winner.The hotel also includes breakfast which with children we find a bonus. Awesome Property. Room was Spacious and comfortable and the Gulf View we opted for was Incredible !!!!! Staff was super friendly and very helpful. If and When we go back to Clearwater Beach ,Pier House 60 Marina Hotel is at the top of our list to Stay at !!!!!. Very clean hotel felt rooms were great. We liked everything beginning with the first time we saw the location, right up til we left. This hotel is now on our "must do", when we want a get away weekend. Rooms clean,lovely view of the harbour,handy having parking below the hotel only downside to that was having to pay 15 dollars per day.the gorgeous beach is just across the road. Liked Crows Nest Cafe & Bar located outside with gulf views & breezes. Parking was easy.Room beautiful...a nice surprise..Liked it better than nearby Hyatt. Love the location within walking distance of everything. Staff very friendly. There was a mixup with letsbookhotel.com and the hotel took care of it right away. I absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was helpful when we needed tickets to Busch Gardens. The rooms were clean and orderly. I can't wait to go back!!!. Everything! I hope so as they would be using tons of the stuff over the years. letsbookhotel.com charged for breakfast yet it was free to all guests !! Reception was noisy due to a "ball" machine. Car parking is $15/day. Should be in room rate for clarity. Nothing. Unaware of extra charges prior to visit (occupancy tax) - although this is not a hotel specific dislike. Lack of variety at breakfast. Rooms did not have own safes had to use sd boxes at reception. The T.V. was having problems one evening... Didnt like walking through the bar entrance to get to our room. Moved to 9th floor. Had to park in the employee lot instead of the garage (no available spots) but still had to pay $15.00 parking fee. Not much, it's a very nice place1. This is not a complaint but just to note: The hotel is actually not on the beach but you have to cross a busy and noisy road to reach the beach. It feels more than a city than a beach hotel. The bar on top is rather cheesy. Breakfast. Poor. i had to leave and go home. Parking to pay! Impossible to find a correct glass to enjoy some wine in our room. Regarding pictures, I was expecting an hotel with more charm (less modern)!. Bit pricey,. a bit pricy but then so is everything else in Clearwater. Basic breakfast, bit more choice would be nice. On our last morning they didn't have any Philly cheese available. $15 per night car parking is a bit steep/unecessary. reception staff did seem a bit uninterested and rude. When checking out I was half way through asking a question and lady answered the phone totally ignoring me, which is not how customers should be treated even if we are leaving!. No bathtub!!. only 2 clothing drawers in room, pool is in the shade!!! No hot tub. I had a problem with a suspicious circumstance where someone entered my room, I reported it to asst mgr and never heard back as to what was going on. I am a career law enforcement official and the circumstances were indicative of the latest hotel room hacking device being used.
