  We booked our stay over the internet so my son could attend vt orientation. It took us 20 minutes to travel from Christiansburg to vt. Outward appearance, older. Inside very clean. Suited our needs for a very resonable price. We would stay again. Great find, closer hotels were double or triple the money. - Location. Value.

  This is the second time we stayed at the hotel. As parents of a Virginia Tech student, we visit the area frequently and always choose to stay here if we can get a room (sometimes booked).   Amanda at the front desk was lovely! She greeted us and gave us all the necessary details pertaining to our stay (Dasani water bottles on the house, coffee 24 hrs, cookies, etc). The room was very very clean, the bed sooooo comfortable after a long drive, hard & soft pillows, etc. (The linen smelled so clean!)Within 1/2 hour a call from front ... what people say » desk asking if we were satisfied. We did not take advantage of the breakfast but I saw scrambled eggs, bacon, bagels/bread, fruit, cereal, waffles, be - Good location, comfortable beds and pillows, friendly staff. When I mentioned the issues (see "what I didn't like") upon check- out, I was pleasantly surprised when the clerk said there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and so I would not be charged for the room. Given this dedication to quality service, I will definitely give this hotel another try.
