I really liked the location. We were able to walk to several places we wanted to visit, including the Art Institute and the Doughnut Vault. The check-in was quick and easy, and they were nice to suggest some places we should visit when asked. Parking is expensive, but I appreciated being able to park overnight in the garage attached to the building. Price included breakfast. We enjoyed having a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, dishes & cups, coffee pot, and popcorn in the room, in addition to.

The location, the comfort, the price, and, most appreciated, the graciousness and helpfulness of every staff member made the entire five-day stay memorable and enjoyable. I hope to return for leisure rather than business. Very good location, with a small kitchen in the room. We booked a room with a king size bed and a couch for 4 persons. The booking confirmation was somewhat confusing as it only stated 2 persons. Actually, the room was perfect for 2 but the extra couch was somewhat less comfortable. The woman who was in the continental breakfast area was amazing! She greeted everyone and was so helpful. She should be your greeter! The front desk personnel could take a lesson from her....smile, exude warmth and sincerity. Really! I travel alot, and she was exceptional!. Conveniently located to shopping, dining and lakefront activities. Walking distance to most main attractions and an affordable cab ride to most others. Parking was available on the premisses. Room was decent size and clean. Pool and workout facility was a plus. Service in the breakfast buffet was the best ever. The tall lady was the nicest, most accommodating person even at a hotel breakfast buffet. She made the stay. Breakfast was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Great little gym. The lobby area was great and roomy. The room was very comfortable and quite. I like the breakfast and the evening beverages and food items. The employees working these areas were pleasant, friendly and remembered the guests. Very comfortable suite and facilities.. All destinations within easy walking distance. If you are the unlucky person who has to sleep on the roll-out bed, don't plan on sleeping well. You are better off to sleep on the sofa as is instead of folding it out. The view was also not great (only saw the garage), but this did not impact my enjoyment much at all. At least I had a view of my car. :). There was NOTHING to criticize. Your web site did not have accurate information about the cost of parking!. The sofa bed was not real comfortable but met ours needs. Weekend parking in the self park area was a hassle. Guest spots frequently filled up with non quest and the hotel valet attendant's solution for guest was to continuing circling until additional spots became available. Not the best solution considering self parking cost $45/day. However the hotel manager did offer valet parking at no additional charge for the one night we had a problem finding a space. nothing I can think off. Parking was a little distant. Pool small for big hotel so always full. Nowhere to change. Would like a bigger pool and whirl pool. The pool was always over run and so we didn't use it. the sofa bed is not comfortable at all I could fell the metal bar running all the way tru my back. Nothing really. The pull out couch was not so comfortable. Frid/sat night area v noisy. Coffee was awful. The Breakfast was one of the worst I have ever had. I loved the hotel. The bed was old and not comfortable Car parking was expensive. nothing. King studio for 4 is actually...a room for 2 + a very inconfortable sofa for 2. We needed another "mirror" space for getting ready in the morning. Reception is not on the ground floor. Said room could fit 4 adults, but only had a king and a pull out couch. Luckily there was only 3 of us. 2 guys had to share a bed and the other guy (myself) was on the hide a bed and it was not very comfortable. Rooms showing some wear, especially the furniture. Pool and hit tub seemed dirty. the shower was not very clean, however I did not bother calling the front desk. breakfast was overcrowded, no seats and 10 minute line for food. There was nothing to "not like" during our stay at this hotel. Hot tub was down for part of our stay.I pool was dirty, things floating in the water. nothing. Pool too small. I dont like price for parking. The price I got was from high season, due to some conventions occuring in Oct. The accommodation prices were not very coherent with the level of the facilities. The hotel is very old and even though it was clean the furniture was kind of cheap. “Breakfast” is served in plastic dishes, and the quality of the food and variety is disappointing, for me it was depressing. The resemblance of the level of this hotel could be a Econo Lodge but with a kitchen space. The room was stinky... feet stink! Or something... Asked to refresh air, they did but it was not enough!.
