  New and still fresh facilities. Clean. Nice for a couple with small kid. Personally I had only eggs and yogurt for breakfast - the only things you can eat unless you love sweet rolls and buns. But that's standard for all such hotels. - The desk clerk who checked us in was extremely helpful. The hotel was very modern and updated and very clean.   Peaceful and perfect for our family. We stayed in the 2 room cabin and were able to sleep very well before getting up and enjoying an early cave tour before continuing our road trip. Highly recommend. We barely mentioned that we didn't have supplies to light a campfire in front of our cabin and our host quietly lit one for us. We noticed a nice fi... what people say » re was in the firepit for us after we put the kids to bed. It was a nice evening! The small things are actually big things to us. Thank you for servin - The cabins are historic (older), but were very clean and had basic amenities including frig and microwave. The fireplace-like heating unit was very toasty and the cabin had a lot of character! Proximity to Mammoth Cave was nice.
