  We loved the welcome we received. We were made to feel at home right from the start. Tracy poured us both a huge glass of wine and that set the scene for a wonderful stay. Everything was spotless. You really feel you are in a welcoming house. When we arrived there was a roaring fire going. It's minutes from the beach and Carmel itself. P - Amazing value for the money. The staff was excellent - friendly and helpful. Complimentary cheese and wine to start your evening, and a simple, tasty breakfast in the morning. We stayed in Room 4 (one of the smallest rooms on the upper floor with the slanted ceiling) and it was more than enough room for two people. Very clean and the bed was comfortable.
