Adam's Mark is perfectly situated for our needs. Close to Irish Times for wings and First Niagara Center for a hockey game. This is the second year my son and I celebrate his birthday by staying @ Adam's Mark, going for wings and a hockey game. We even got a free upgrade from the friendly lady at reception! My 13 year old son said this is the best birthday gift, thanks for making his birthday memorable.
all reviews » The staff were all very friendly. Even the cleaning staff smiled and said good morning to us as we were leaving and walking down the hall. The room was super clean. The price was great also for everything that the room offered. I also enjoyed my view as I could look out and see First Niagara Center where I went to attend Geroge Strait's concert. We went to a hockey game at First Niagara and it was very close to the arena. They allowed us to leave our car in the lot after we checked out to walk to the stadium. The room was clean. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. location cleanliness size of the hotel/ rooms friendly staff members pool/sauna. The location was convenient, the staff was friendly, it was easy to navigate. The maids were so nice and friendly and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the lounge. We did not like that it took security a while to get the partier to stop at 6:00 A.M. We call at 3:00 A.M. and then at 4:15 A.M. They were so loud and they keep slaming the door. no hot tub. Could use some updating. A little more attention to cleanliness. I came to check in, it was too early and the staff was unfriendly. Then when I returned later there were 4 people behind the counter, not one addressed me, in fact everyone scattered. i had to move to the other end of the counter to seek out assistance. Need more trash cans, and the bathroom shower could have been alittle bit more cleaner. The bathroom ceiling was leaking water. It was not comforting when a concrete ceiling is leaking water through it. Made me wonder if it was just going to collapse and kill me. I didnt shower because I did not want to increase moisture in room. Very dangerous as there was water puddle on the ground. Slippery and I could have hurt myself. No recommendation because of this major safety issue. No hot water in our bathroom!!!. No mini fridges. The 'double' beds were a little small. water pressure of the shower head but that can be fixed with some tlc to get rid of mineral build up. broken bath sink faucet. Children up and down escalators while we were in cocktail lounge. No supervision from parents and it continued even after staff was informed and confronted children. Not a way to cap a great day and night. However, still a great hotel with great staff. Thanks. check in at 3 pm, we came for A sabres game and wanted to freshen up before but could check in. stayed on the 4th floor doors banged all night people partying all night terrible night sleep. The room was freezing cold when we arrived. The heat took a very long time to warm up the room. When we left and came back the heat was somehow off and we had to wait for it to warm up again. Very unpleasant. Budget friendly is 2 words not to use for the cost & asking for a refrigerator and the response was for an extra $10.4th time I have been there and the corners that have been cut are so obvious.Had to ask for a garbage bag only having 1 garbage can for food containers etc...no warmth any more. mold in the bathroom, peeling wallpaper, having to pay to park. I did not realize that the hotel had quit a few events going on or I would have booked a different hotel. There was no time for relaxation unless you wanted to stay in your room. The staff was rude to us and we got told 2 different prices. We had an emergency evacuation that was extremely scary. However, the problem I had is that the staff did not know what to do. They did not give us any answers to our questions. We were led out to a garage and just left there. Some people kept walking until they reached outside some just stopped int he garage. There was no one to help us. I booked the room because the add said it was .4 km from ralph Wilson stadium,home of the buffalo bills football team. It was more like 30km. The cab fair was $40.00 each way to get to the game. Very pissed off. Cost. Small room. No microwave or fridge in room. Ice maker was out of order. The cut backs that where taken around the hotel are just not worth the return trip and the increase of cost. 180 dollars with no refrigerator and paid parking is the end of these visits.shopping else where downtown for another and will pay the cab fair. -Roll bed was very uncomfortable -No hot water in shower -Took 45 min. To received roll bed -Ice machine was in a run down part of the hotel -Price for Breakfast was outragious. Food was cold, undercooked and had to track down my own coffee. Evacuation at midnight and how dirty it was. Room Service - 45 minutes for an 8" pizza. Called security twice in three hours, excessive noise. I booked a king size bed and got two small (double?) beds instead. This was supposed to be a romantic evening that I had planned as a surprise for my husbands birthday. I was told there was nothing that they could do for us. Very disappointed. Bathroom light didn't work.
