The staff was excellent from beginning to the end of our stay. We arrived for the boston marathon as participants and fans and the staff was extremely accomodating and helpful from the check-in, bell service, room service, valet, etc. Under the terrible circumstances during the marathon, the Marriott did an extraordinary job of stepping up and making our stay very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean! Bed very comfortable. I asked the cleaning person to leave me more coffee for the room and left some money for her to take. I had more coffee and she left the money! I did leave it when we left! Close to great shopping! Close to Fenway. Near excellent dining. The Bell Hops were very nice!.
all reviews » My son and I were in the city for the red sox parade andceltics game. The hotel was a fantastic jumping off point for both events. The staff was great and very helpful.The room was great one small problem with our TV that was resolved quickly. Thank you to the staff of the hotel. Loved the location - couldn't be better for sight seeing, shopping and restaurants! The staff was so pleasant and accommodating. Front desk saw that we had kids and helped us get two adjoining rooms, one of them was an upgrade, and the extra space was so appreciated. Our view on the 25th corner room was so good that we didn't want to leave and explore the city! But we did follow the concierge's advice and mosey down Newbury street. Had a great Italian dinner at Lucca'S. Had a beautiful corner room. Very spacious on he 15 th floor. The entire hotel was very clean. Location can't be beat! Staff went above & beyond helping, especially at check-in. The location and especially the parking easy in and out access without extra charges and the vip lounge at the 28 th floor . They did not clean the room properly, my sister dropped some cookies crumbs on the carpet on the 1st day she arrived and we noticed the house keeping did not vacuum or the floor at all until the day we left,we stayed there for 3 days. I am a member of marriot club reward, we booked for 7 rooms each 2 nights but the reception,she allowed me to get redeem for our stay only 2 rooms , of course we used only one member no# . Very disappointed with this type of policy. I'm not so sure it is marriot policy or her policy.
