For the first time I have experienced that the room was just as nice and big as the pictures on the booking page showed. Do upgrade to a junior suite with a cityview, It gave us a cornerroom with a 150 degree wiew abling us to se the whole of the winter sunrise while getting up in the morning. Wow! The staff was always friendly, easy going and very helpful, no stiff upper lip!. - friendly check-in people - valet / door people helpful - hotel clean, very comfortable - westin bed is amazing as usual - river view room is pretty cool (24th floor) - overall great hotel - ideal location for work or fun - would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
all reviews » Staff was excellent and very attentive. Room was appropriate for price but you will be blown away by the view. Be sure to ask for Riverview. All was excellent. I'm local but stay in Boston often and this was my first time at this hotel. I would highly reccomend it to anyone. The location was perfect. Close to the "T" stop. Could not of asked for a better location. So glad we had a room on the 25th floor because it was a pretty view of the city. Great location for downtown Boston. Shopping malls close by and connected to hotel. Enjoyed the bar in lobby nice windows. Service very good. The reception staff offered us no additional information when we booked in or saw we'd got breakfast included in our booking which caused an issue with our bill . When we informed reception of this issue , it was sorted out very quickly to our satisfaction . Mattress was over worn. Indentation in the mattress from sleepers. There's no free wifi (not even in the lobby) despite the fact that it's so convenient & ccentral in its location. nothing in particular. I like everything of this hotel. Staff very friendly. A little pricy and I would have liked a more budget friendly parking choice. Extra for Wi-fi Shower mecanism. Furniture in bedroom very poor condition also carpert worn in places. No free Wi-Fi Starbucks didn't accept the Green Choice voucher. The outside staff where you drive up park your car were not very helpful. You had to wait quite awhile to get any service. Selection of Riverview Room did not appear at check-in and had to get managers approval for that. Could have been a problem. I'd suggest booking directly thru Westin to guarantee Riverview. Bar closed to early. Restaurant way overpriced. Over priced and would not have stayed here but no other hotels available for the nights needed in the area. Parking should be included or discounted for patrons. Restaurant choices. Expensive. Waited more than 10 minutes for an elevator. Better dining facilities. Parking is too$$$. nothing. My confirmation from you when I booked said Breakfast included and they told me at the hotel that it was not included and I am requesting reimbursement for this error. The hotel tells me it is 32 per day per person??. too pricey for quality. I paid almost 400 dollars including overnight parking for one night and expected a flawless stay. our toilet was running throughout the night waking us from sleep. we could hear our neighbors running shower/water through the wall in the morning, also waking us up. just not as enjoyable of a stay for the amount of money I paid. Expensive room fee and internet. Having to pay for wifi. Elevator wait times. WiFi should be free for guests. Construction ongoing, main lobby boarded off. Was not notified by either Booking.com or the Hotel itself of construction.
