I was not expecting a motel room to have so much attention to detail such as hard wood floors and wood ceilings, plushy super soft beds, attractive side table and chairs. The booking said there was no meal option, but a continental breakfast was provided.Handy location to the Parkway and the nice town of Blowing Rock. - We thought this hotel was a little difficult to find and a bit off the beaten track.   I loved the location. I could park and walk everywhere. When I needed help for directions or a recommendation for a restaurant, the people at the front desk were very accommodating.
