Very clean. Rooms were updated and much more than I expected for the money. View from the room was awesome. When they made the beds they even picked up my childs teddy bear off the floor and put him in between the pillows which i thought was a personal touch that showed they had pride in their jobs. Very kid friendly for a casino based hotel. Pool was beautiful and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
all reviews » First they wanted to put us on the 4th floor and were allowed to smoke outside on the balcony. I was not happy with that because I was pretty adamant about ordering a smoking room. She talked to her Supervisor and put us on the 7th floor smoking room. The room was great and we were very pleased. The staff was super friendly & made us feel very welcome! The room was great, beaches were gorgeous! This casino was tons of fun with some of the nicest dealers and helpful staff! My husband and I have decided to make this trip several times a year! (Oh, and the food here is delicious!!!). Loved the shower. Room was very nice, well-appointed, and clean. Hotel is just across the street from the beach. Complimentary valet parking, and attendants were generally very quick retrieving car. The food was excellent. The servers went above and beyond excellent. As a whole it like a big family reunion. The room was really nice and comfortable. The shower was to die for. Loved it. Everyone was super friendly. Room was great. Did not have time to eat the crabs but they smelled wonderful. Next time.....and there will be a next time. Thank you for a great stay. :). We have stayed many times and the staff is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful. It is really a shame that people cannot pick up their trash before they leave. I was always taught leave a place like u found it. Bathroom was super nice and new, with huge shower, but I wish it had a bathtub. Other than that, it went above our expectations!. Painting in the bathroom was very disturbing. (It looked like a cross between a crucifixion scene and a menstruating woman.) Chambermaid service was usually very late in the day, and they did not always fully replenish supplies. (Coffee.) The casino was very small with limited choices for gaming. This was a new hotel for me and I was ready to run out the door when I walked in the lobby of 50 people hollering and carrying on without any manners. I was afraid the room was going to be dirty because of the dirty carpet in the hallways. Thank goodness the room was clean. We are non-smokers and in order to get anywhere in the casino/hotel, we had to breathe and smell obnoxious amounts of smoke. There was no entertainment available in the casino other than gambling (we don't gamble or smoke). In Biloxi, you don't have much of a choice of not staying at a casino. Been there - done that - won't be back. We didn't like hearing a train go by at all hours of the night as well as some loud guest talking & carrying on till 2 am. Also, the buffet could of had ALOT more variety of foods. The selection was a bit disappointing. All the smoking... Ate breakfast there everyday but the price changed everyday didn't know why? Had to have another coffee maker in the room!. Arrival was a little dissapointing, no one to help with bags, I had to go check in and request a bellhop and I had to go find someone in valet to take my car. My experience at other casinos is there is enough staff readily available to assist you when you arrive. Horrible that all intersections were closed going east and it took us 1 1/2 hrs to get to ip where we nearly missed the concert when we had driven2 hrs for myself and 5 hrs for my daughter(from Lake Charles) to get there,(nothing to do with Hotel) too much smoke in casino,ended up at 2 different casinos where they had at least one section smoke free,. very smoky casino needs better ventilation. There was nothing that I didn't like. We booked 6 mths in faced and our room faced a cement wall surrounded by cigarette butts. After much discussion we were moved to the other side of the building. The overwhelming smell of smoke in our room. We could not have anon smoking. Staff did spray the room then bring a machine to Clean the air. There were no micowaves in the room. It didn't have a small refrigerator to keep our drinks and water cold. The view was of a wall. I had requested a view of the pool. The only complaint I have is that smoking was allowed throughout the hotel. I didn't like getting in the elevator with my daughter and someone was smoking. I wish it was restricted to casino only. Too much cigarette smoke in the casino area. Outdated building from outside. But was very clean on the inside so no real complaints. Nothing. I won $200 then lost it back in the machine. all was good. Myself as well as a girl I wad with got seafood poisoning fron the buffet. We had to take her to the er in Biloxi. When I called to let the staff know, I was told I could not speak to a manger. And was told oh ok sorry. And they hung up the phone. We checked out in the middle of the night. So we didn't even get to stay for one of the nights I paid for. would have preferred an ocean view and queen beds. No refrigerators and no microwave. I had a child with me who has special milk which would not fit in your medical refrigerators so I had to pay for a refrigerator for my stay. Most good hotels provide refrigerators so I did not think to ask. I would not have stayed there had I known in advance. One of the employees at the cage window was not well informed on casino comp policy. My non-smoking room was on the same floor as smoking rooms. The casino was a little run down compared to the hotel rooms. Nothing. An item was stolen from our room. I detest cigarette smoke. had the buffet for dinner, some selections were below average quality. floors full of food while we were eating. Unfriendly staff, would not allow sealed plastic bottle of tea to be brought out to pool, yet plastic water bottles are sold at site. Only thing I didn't like was when we were at the pool and ordered drinks from the waitress and didn't get the drinks till 45 minutes later... Smoke filled casino. The cover on the bed was too heavy. It was like fighting with the covers. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable. food in the den restraunt could be a little better. Had a line at check in, took a while, only two people were checking in. sometimes the staff acted like we were bothering them when we'd ask questions. not really friendly, never smiled.
