First let me say that I arrived late and was treated so pleasantly by the staff. The room was oh my goodness beautyful with a great view of the beach and other hotels. The casino was great. They had a club inside that was to die for every race was there very good to see everyone getting along and parting and having a good time. We love the lobby took so many pictures for the memories definately coming back this year. I recommenanded all my friends and family to go to your beautiful hotel until .
all reviews » We stayed in the west tower and it was great!! The room was updated and fresh! Our beds were super comfy and the bathroom was huge! I loved the hardwood floors and flat screen TV! Our view was amazing too! We didnt even mind the distance between our room and the casino! The walk thru the hotel was so pretty every time! There were a few cracks in the ceiling and the floor lamp was not in the best condition BUT none of that mattered or made our stay less enjoyable! Check- in and check-out was a b. Timely check in, even early, not charged extra for it. I remarked that it was my first visit to that hotel and was placed in the Havana tower so as to have easy viewing to hourly laser holiday show.. I also had tickets to their holiday extravaganza, while it was a much smaller version of New York's Christmas spectacular , the price was in line for a very good show. I had room service that was not only tasty but was delivered in a timely manner. Leprachaun comfortable bus ride from Orange County, NY directly to The Tropicana. Super convenience. The buffet is one of the best we have ever had. The slots are plentiful and I enjoyed winning on the Poker Slot-machine. The boardwalk and beach is the backyard. It's great. The rate was unbelievable for all that we received. My wife wants to know, "what is my hold up booking another night?". Rooms were spacious, very clean, nice bathroom, our view from the top floors was amazing! Access to the beach and boardwalk was right out the door if the hotel. Elevators were plentiful and fast. Many bars and restaurants, lots to pick from. Centrally located on the boardwalk,within walking distance of other casinos, the outlet shops, and all the entertainment along the pier. The entire staff of the resort were extremely helpful, courteous and overall happy to assist. I was very presently surprised. The restaurants were just as well staffed and the meals were all a value in comparison to the other resorts. My room was a real pleasant surprise. I was given a top floor with a magnificent view while paying letsbookhotel.com prices. Love the rooms in the south tower. We asked for an upgrade and the check in clerk was nice enough to give us one; complementary! Love the casino, food, and it's directly on the Atlantic avenue strip! This is my 4th stay at tropicana and it never disappoints. The motto here, to me, is: ask and you shall receive! I always ask for things and they always deliver!. My boyfriend and I are regulars. Tropicana has a great selection of restaurants, dance clubs, lounge with live music and a comedy club. The cobblestone walkway has stores and ceiling fans for a quaint shopping experience. Make sure you ask for an ocean view room. The beach and boardwalk are right outside the front door with beach chair and umbrella rentals. Loved how helpful virtually every single employee in the resort was...and I seemed to always have questions on where I was going. Great selection of restaurants and activities. Loved the location! Loved that we had access to a wheelchair by just presenting disability placard to valet service. It was a lifesaver!. Me n my friends stay there it was nice we didn't have any problem you don't need to go anywhere else then downstairs cuz the hotel got everything clubs food n u can go on the boardwalk it's a mall at the end n dwn some more the outlet we had fun n I will stayed there again. This was our second visit to Atlantic City and there is no other hotel that we will ever stay at. There is no reason to leave the hotel unless you want to go for a walk on the beautiful boardwalk or to spend your winnings at Tanger mall!!! I will be back again!!!!. My wife and I usual spend a night in Atlantic City once a year. I have found in the past rooms are not always clean. This is the first time we stayed at the Tropicana. The room was very clean and affordable. I also liked there were several restaurants. rooms in south tower were clean and pleasant.quiet at nite unlike other casinos. no young adults running down halls late at nite.good place to shop ,see a movie and good restaurants,all in one location.especially Carmines,delicious and great value. Hotel has a large casino for which smoking is permitted. As a non smoker this is always an issue for me. The casino has large sections of non smoking areas and also the smoking sections seem to have great ventilation. Also hotel was very nice. Beautiful Hotel and Casino, right on the Beach and Boardwalk. We really enjoyed the clean beach, we had fun in ocean and had long walks on boardwalk and enjoyed the show "Mystique". Parking was easy and only costed $ 10. for our 5 day stay. Everything is right there! Shopping, movies, nightclubs, restaurants, the casino, spa, and you can walk to the boardwalk without leaving the resort. The room was nice, big, and had a great view of the ocean (which I requested when booking). I like the Tropicanna my boyfriend and I partied all night at the Tango Bar and the other club. It was raining while we were there so i did not get a chance to go to the outside pool but I have before and I liked it. Will stay there again. I booked 2 rooms for me and 3 family members. They originally placed us in different "towers". When I explained that it was unacceptable, they gave us 2 rooms, same wing, different floor. I appreciate their co-operation in the situation. The Casino is clearly the largest one on the strip, it is beautiful walking through the hallways and all the stores and restaurants. You feel as though you are in another place, not Atlantic City. All staff was very friendly and helpful. My hotel was very clean, I love the slection of resturants and shopping. The atmosphere is very adult, the staff is friendly and kind. You basically can stay in hotel because everything is there dinning, entertainment the casino. It was stunning. The view and accessibility to the Boardwalk was amazing. There was actually no need to leave the hotel because every attraction was literally on the grounds, from world renowned restaurants to spa services. I liked that I was upgraded to a suite due to what I asked for. The side I was on was very busy and I came for quiet. Alex one of their representatives did say promised. The service was good and I will stay there again. I loved everything about my stay at Tropicana. Great room.. I would love to stay in Rm 6235 again. Handicapped accessible bathroom, but shower design allowing wheelchairs meant entire bathroom floor flooded while bathing. The staff were universally friendly, especially housekeeping. Will come back to stay again. After walking through the other hotels and casino on the boardwalk--we both noticed how much cleaner the Tropicanca was. Spotless---safe and updated. Very pleased on our selection to stay with you!!!. I enjoy the resort and the location. I've stayed at the Tropicana before and like that everything is within reach. The options inside the resort are easy to get to and enjoy without having to go to far. I like that all staff was helpful and knew what they were talking about. For example asking them for directions, they all knew. My room was very clean and neat. My view was awesome from my window. Everything was very easy to get to and the Quarter was beautiful. The Spa was also wonderful with a great staff. The Comedy Stop is a place that you have to visit...I Laughed so hard I was crying!. I love the pool area so relaxing u never have to move from there food drinks oceanviews . I was glad it was open till Sept 16th since I was there sept 4th and 5th. It was a great couple of days !. We liked everything about the Tropicana, we looked in some of the other hotels on the boardwalk but in our opinion they did not compare with the Tropicana, Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. The choice of restaurants and shopping venues were quite extensive and very good. Especially The Fin. The room was very clean and quiet. Service was excellent. I loved the prices at "A dam good sports bar". Very reasonable. Also, the room was a great size, and the room was clean. We had a great view of the beach. I like everything about the hotel like, the room, casino, pool, and more. It was awesome I already booked my room for next month that is hoe great it was. I have been there many times before. I like the convenience of where it is located. The staff are really pleasant. The room was ready when we arrived. The interior of the hotel and casino is quite beautiful, and its location on the boardwalk is ideal and close to other shops and hotels on the boardwalk. The concierge allowed us to check in early and we were given a great corner room. Everything was easily accessible including the spa, pool, and shopping. I liked the friendliness of the staff. The rooms were very clean. Stayed there two nights had two adjoining rooms and would go back and stay there again. Loved the Express Checkout I left my keys on the dresser I hope that was okay. Boogie Nights 80s Club was great, and Planet Rose Kareoke bar was a lot of fun. Had everything under One roof, food,shopping entertainment. The outdoor look and decor was marvelous. Great Location. I loved my stay at Tropicana. we enjoyed our stay especially the casino and the shops at the quarter, it was all very lively and fun, the room was clean and comfortable as well. Location is excellent if you are interested in the beach and the boardwalk. Restaurants are convenient. Price during the week is reasonable. Only thing I didnt like is I brought my wii u to play in room but the tv couldnot be hooked up thats the only thing that made me sad. Other then that no complaints at all. There wasNT much about our stay we didn't like. There was a leak in the laundry room that made the floor outside our room wet. It didnt come near our room though. They had blowers trying to dry it up. And the noise was minimumal. The ONE thing I can complain about it signage! When we arrived we had KNOW idea where we were or were we had to go to check in and the signs are not very clear. But a very nice security guard took care of us and bought us right to where we had to go!. This was our first trip. Just sorry we did not know that we were entitled to a free gift. Others on our bus received portable vacuum cleaners. We did not hear anything about that. A long line at check in reception, however the line moved very quickly. do not get a room in the Havana Tower it is cheap looking. The bathroom had no towel racks...they were stacked on counter. Would have loved a microwave, and freezer compartment in fridge. No other complaints at all!. The floor in the room was a lil dusty just a lil. Service was great at Carmine's but I wish their portions could be smaller!. There was only a small pamphlet in the room about the Tropicana I received when I checked in. I prefer when hotels have a book describing restaurants with a menu and details about bars and clubs in the hotel. Far away from other casinos. No negative. Just that it is expensive but no different than any other hotel in the area. It's confusing at first because there's so much in one place. I had to ask for directions to get to my hotel room! But as soon as we found it we didn't get lost again. I would like the Tropicanna Resort to have more places to eat. Lo.ng lines to get on the elevator to the rooms. The long walk from the check in desk to our room, in the Havana Tower. it was like walking thru a huge airport. The room in the Havana Tower was probably one of the saddest rooms we have ever stayed in at AC. It was a great price, but really, an old fashion TV in the room. Bed not so comfortable. The Havan Tower clearly needs a renovation. My room didnt have an microwave, the refrigerator was awful it only slightly chill my drinks. The Tv was an joke it was a 20" tube television I didn't think they still exist. The only thing that I didn't like was that our stay was too short. Also I still have to get past the fact that smoking is allowed through out the casino. I requested a smoking room and they gave me a non smoking room. It was an inconvience but was retified the next day. I liked everything. For people with problems walking (like me) distances between our room and dining areas and the pool were nearly insurmountable. It would be nice if there was a small deli-type eatery near the lobby, perhaps. Our toilet and sink were very slow to drain; we had to call for maintenance several times before it was fixed. I have nothing negative to say. The room with the view of thecasino floor. Had I know that that's what my room was facing, I wouldve requested a room with an outside view. I felt that I lost sight of daylight. Also, the setup of the room. Sink was outside of the bathroom. I liked everything, want to go back soon. The King Size Bed was too short. My husband's legs were hanging off. Not my idea of king size. The staff at check-in were not very friendly. I did not feel welcomed, just rushed. They should also give out a map of the hotel. I was very confused when we first got there and that would have been helpful. That I did not have more time to enjoy myself. People staying next to us had their tv on all night long and very loud. Smokey casino and even though our room was no smoking, the smell hit you when you opened the door into the hallway. dusty hotel room, scarce bathroom amenities, no fan in bathroom,. I wish I was Giving an Extra Free Night or a Free Breakfast. They did not have a smoking room available when I checked in & the next day when I transferred to the smoking room it was freezing cold. The casino was also a little cold as well. Television reception was not very good and the TV was quite old. No complaints. It was a great stay. I didn't like that we didn't get a discount as we have been there before. The pillows are absolutely horrible, and when we were there this past May 5th, the room was damp and freezing. Also, the Trop could use more intermediate-priced restaurants. They have either high-priced or fast-food style -- nothing in-between. The room, while beautiful and large was missing some key elements such as a table and a clock. I didn't like how you had to go through the whole casino,and market place to get to everything like the boardwalk, valet parking, hotel lobby and even the pools. Lighting in Bathroom very dim only one bulb working couldn't see very well needs to be alot brighter in Room 3837. The room we stayed in had things that didn't work right. The the shower light was not working, and there was no comforter on the beds. Noise from next door guest and smell of Tabasco coming through the bathroom vent. The housekeeping starts too early knocking on the door. They should start after check out 11:00 am. the only thing i didnt like was that it wasnt a flat screen in our room and that fifty dollars was the lowest that the atms in the casinos would dispense. The only "issue" we had was we wanted to stay an extra night and would have cost us three times as much to stay one night. Not a huge deal but would have been nice if they didn't jack up the price on us.
