Very friendly people. Surprisingly quiet considering it's on a busy street. Getting a package of cookies every day is a very nice touch and makes you feel really welcome. Spacious room. Clean. Fridge and coffeemaker in the room. Micro wave in the Guest Laundry room with plenty of packages of coffee and tea as well should one not have enough with what's in your room. Ideal location for a visit to Old Town (within walking distance - 10 min max), several musea, the Botanical Garden and Aquarium. N.

We appreciated their strict policy applied to keep it "Non smoking" My allergies are very sensitive to motel/hotel rooms/rental cars and such, that were advertised as non smoking, but had obvious smoking residue. Not the case here and we were very gratetful Even with all the great reviews, we were pleasantly surprised Would . Old style 50's motel that was well kept and run. Within walking distance to several tourist sites (just blocks). Very clean and the owners/operators were most helpful and friendly. Liked this facility as well as any big chain like Best Western where we stayed out west. The area behind the motel was a very nice residential area and walking around it you certainly felt safe. Travelled with me and three kids two were adult children and one 10y/o. We were there for four days. Tues-sat and everyday had the beautiful pool to ourselves. Very private. It's small only 15rooms so it was like a private resort for us. Laundry facilities on site and walking distance to old town for shopping. We will definitely stay again if we go back. A block from Old Town, clean and comfortable (not modern and sterile), in the style of small, old Route 66 motels with neon sign and 1-level rooms next to your car. Beautiful plantings with rosemary bushes as tall as I am. Innkeeper Henry is wonderful, cordial and welcoming. Key entry, not plastic card, completes the European-style visit. Our host & hostess were friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Walking distance to old town was great. The place is old in a funky kind of way but VERY CLEAN and the pool is darling. Defineitely would recommend and would stay there again. A great value!. It's very close to Old Town (walking distance in good weather), the couple who run it are extremely pleasant and helpful, and the room was perfect for a multiple day stay (table, refrigerator, desk, wi fi). This is an outstanding small motel, centrally located near Old Town, zoo, aquarium, downtown, and the interstates. You will not find a cleaner place to stay ... Ever! You won't go wrong by staying here. Great place in older part of Albuquerque. Close walk to lots of shops and many different places/types of food. Victor was very pleasant and great to talk with. The major drag 'Route 66' though historic still had many closed business in the area and there were a few panhandlers on the streets. I like places that have breakfast and coffee included in the mornings just for convenience. A hair dryer would have been nice since I didn't pack one. I feel this is a standard option available. Nothing. Too short of a stay...did not get a chance to use the pool...looked very very nice. Wi-Fi was hard to get unless standing outside or right in front the window. Noise from the street a couple of times was a bit much. I liked everything. I liked everything. Nothing. No breakfast, but there are many restaurants in Old Town (10 min away), so it doesn't matter. Part of town a little rough. nothing. n/a. Lighting. Inefficient air conditioner that was noisy. We set it at 75 & it came on every other minute for 20 seconds. Room did not get cool. Area not very pedestrian friendly.
