Overall a mid-60's hotel redone nicely and tastefully. We had a suite which was a corner high up view room and was fine. Toiletries were a bit light but housekeeping kept things very tidy. Pool area and patios are terrific, location to old town super excellent. A wonderful stay - everything contributed: staff, room, facilities, location! We really recommend this hotel to any activity in town!!! a must :).

Restaurant was good--Gardinuos (?). Hallways on our floor were always very hot. Getting off elevator was a blast of heat vs. The lobby area elevators. There is no longer "fine dining" - on the property but old town has plenty of dining alternatives. Ads state "fine dining" but that has been closed for some time. no bad experience - everything was fine!!!. Need airport shuttle. The bathroom needs a little more horizontal surface... If that is the only negative we are doing pretty darn well!. The bed was too close to the bathroom. housekeeping they really need either more training.....or was not trained right in the first place. Each day (we had three rooms) we had to call and ask for them to bring the coffee packages, wash cloths,soap...glasses they forgot......sometimes we got them, sometimes not. There was apizza box left outside the door of another guest.....left on the 4th of July....stayed there until the 7th....with housekeeping walking by it all the days as if it were not there. I liked everything!. How far the pool and Jacuzzi are from rooms, the fact that my room was not the right one we reserved. spring loaded mattress and hard beds are outdated and tv channels were terrible!. That the swimming pool wasn't available!!. No mirco wave nor fridge, with babies not very convenient to prepare their meals... Or keep their medicines. They gave away our room with 2 beds that I booked months ago and my friend and I had to share a bed or find a new hotel. They didn't seem to care. The "paint" in the bathtub was peeling. Toilets are too shallow. One dips in when seated. Maid service was spotty.
