The apartment is great, just as described and also the whole Oceana complex. From all the buildings on Palm(except the hotels) they have the best beach and swimming pools. Kids especially enjoyed lazy river.The staff is very healpfull. It's our second time in the Oceana building, but this landlord is superb. Great attitude meets you оn-site, you get a welcome pack (esp. if you have arrived at night), response time to requests (like extra bedding) is very good.
all reviews » The apartment was huge, well appointed. The beach and the pool was fabulous. Contrary to what has been said on previous reviews the apartment was spotless. The pool and beach area was fantastic. The restaurant was very good. The apartment was very spacious. simply it was the best, and by the way its self catering apartment but its home away from home. The location , the room was amazing, nice big balcony, free wifi Value for money. Almoust everything was ok, water, location, sunshine, security works well too. The staff was helpfull The appartment wAs clean The rooms are spascious. The overall facilities, the swimming pool and the private beach. Beach,Pool , Facilties and the Apartment . Apartment and location was wonderful. I like dubai. perfect. I would like to give important info to new customers: 1- fyi no room service of any kind+no room cleaning of any kind. Do your own cleaning. 2- make sure u send a copy of ur passport to the hotel so they can get u access card without it u cant use any of facilities ex. Swimming pool +beach. 3-there r specific times for check in & check out so arrang with them prior to ur arrival. 4- bring with u powder soap for washing machine( automatic). -- over all the appartment was spacious nice views . Very clean. the beach. Great pool complex, beach and bar. Lovely views of Dubai Marina across the water. Nice apartment including balcony. View was pretty. Room was nice and large. The pool. nothing. We were 2 adults and 3 children-but recieved only 4 pillows in apartment. Also the apartment has 3 sleeping rooms- 1 with big double bed(ensuite bathroom), 1 with 2 single beds(ensuite bathroom)and 1 small room with smaller double bed. In that small room they even didn't provide sheets on the bed so one child had to sleep with us in bed as we couldn't use that bed. It was perfect. There was a sewerage smell in the apartment. Nothing. dirt and dust, rooms are not clean. One floor up was construction, sometimes very loud and our staircase was covered with construction dust.. In the kichen doesn't work sink eraser, even 15 min after fixing.. Pillows can be better.. The bed pillows were only 2 and very thin, we couldn't sleep the whole night, when we asked to have extra pillows the next days, I was chocked as they charged us aed 145 (for pillows )!!!!!!!!!!!!. The ongoing work/rebuilding woke us up at 07-08 every morning for 10 consecutive days (exept Friday). During 4 weeks the apartment was cleaned only 1 time, and the towels and bed linen changed only 1 time. The weekly housekeeping I suggested to make it every 4 Days at least because in the fourth day a bad smell will appear from sewage in the main bathroom but it's not that bad . I ask for a parking to my car and they confirm it to me but it was always occupied so every day I park my car in the visitors side . Amlak charged 20% for a sea view, which in my opinion was a marina view. Views from other apartments were just as good if not better. When i expressed my opinion they were extremely dismissive. DO NOT pay extra for view. Just too hot on summer time. 1- i wasnt been informed about the access card so i was forebiden to use the pool and the beach the company office was closed .. After trying hard to reach the office cuz its not a hotel there is no reception or service desk.. Finaly some one was sent to give me a braclet allowing me to enter. Did not get requested room type. The noise and furniture. the man who checks you in (i.e. Jahasah) is RUDE!!! .. the day we were to check-out, he barged into our apartment at 12 a.m. with his own key and literally said "get out in 15 minutes .. I have guests coming" .. Balcony overlooked a building site. Fittings in the rooms were unfinished, some of the electrics didn't work. Unforeseen deposit requested on arrival. Payment process not made clear on booking (balance charged on credit card rather than pay on arrival). Corridor to room was unfinished, and was being worked on throughout the stay resulting in no lights working. Location quite remote - needed taxi rides to get anywhere. Staff was awful and rude. Although only one guy. Room needed a paint and a clean. Car park and lift smelt of sewage/toilet. Was noisy. Bedding was old and needed replacing. There is only one baggage trolly and the guy would not help. I had a baby and had to make 4 trips to unload the car with baby in my arms. Who was hungry as I had wait 30 mins for guy to arrive with the key. Never met such in professional staff as this place. Was not worth the money. The kichen was not clean and bad smell. Staff not polite, did not respect costumers. Rooms are dirty , sink, toilet...everythibg is dirty. So expensive for what they offer. Rooms full of mosquito.Towells very dirty. NIGHTMARE. Totally unprofessional approach to the customers. I think this place cant be named as an Hotel as it is just an apartments in general living building with no any hotel facilities.
