1) The location is amazing! all reviews » We booked for a twin bed but when we arrived the hotel was fully booked! I felt so disappointed but the manger came to as and gave as a room for that night in another movenpick hotel and arranged everything for us and the hotel lemo toke us there,,after coming back the next day we got an upgrade for bigger room with free breakfast and free access to the lounge,,the hotel staff was friendly and they were always asking if we need any help and they were updated with any order we made.. An excellent location for both tourists and the business traveller. The standard of service and facilities was an excellent standard that you would expect from a 5* hotel. We particularly enjoyed the executive lounge on the 21st floor and would recommend upgrading to the executive rooms to take advantage for this facility and the views from the balcony. The location is convenient for the jbr, Beach and Marina (all within working distance). It is very nice hotel, very clean, roam service above expectaion. Front office people are very nice and helpfull, i did the check in within 2 mins and the check out the same. The hotel located in the JBR walk so u can go down for walking and shopping alot of resturents are around the hotel. Car Parking service is excellent. Beach just 1 min walk. Everything was generally great and at the expectancies you can have on a five star. Though the hotell is rather large, the atmosphere is as a small hotell where the staff recognize you and make you feel comfortable. The site of the hotell is excellent!! The traffic on the jbr is horrendous especially Thurs-Sat, allow 30-45 mins for any journey to the hotel (our taxi from the airport took over 1 hour). The rooms on the executive floor are the same size and specification as a standard room. The ventilation in the sports bar could be better especially when busy with lots of smokers. Nothing. Unfortunately there is only sun in the pool area after lunch. And with the skyscraper that is being built right now across the street. The sun will have some serious difficulties to find its way to the pool in the future. Too bad, because the pool is nice with a good menu and bar selection as well. We suggest the beach across the street instead. Then you can sneak back to the hotell for a quick lunch, or why not try next door café, "Salladicous", fantastic value for money!. We ordered ib iron and an iron board.. 3 times.. Didn't come. The house keeping services and laundry services were bad, the swimming pool was ok expected better, doesn't worth the money we pay!. The narrow part of the building fronts the beach, so most of the 'seaview' rooms will have an oblique seaview. You can still sea the beach from the balcony (if you enjoy the heat) and possibly the bed due to the layout, but if beach view is important than check with the hotel in advance. The bed was horrible, pillows as well were not comfortable. Prices are on the higher side for meals and all. Out time was so bzy that we couldn't find taxi easily, small pool and few beds ... At this time there is two wifi spots in the hotel, one is not working I called them for that...nothing happened,,,the other one is 50 Dirham per hour(13 dollar/per hour)..it was like a joke to me. I send two clothes to the laundry but at the chekout I payed for 5 clothes laundry ....when I asked them they tried to fix it out for me .. they gave me %50 discount even thoiut I do have two pieces as a complemintry as they say because of the upgrade. There is a work outside of the hotel this make a hotel noisy during a day, I was in 11 floor but couldn't sleep after 7 am when they are start working. Nothing !. nothing at all. extended late check out would have been nice, but we were allowed 1 hour which was helpful. hotel car was tooooo expensive. I was given a gift voucher on arrival for a massage worth approx 400 dirhams BUT on a condition that I would book a 1000 dirhams of massage first. The pool is too small, and there is no private beach, only an access to the public beach about 7 minutes walk . Staff at check-in could be friendlier. The lack of sunlight around the pool area. You felt like you had to chase the sunshine. The building blocks out the sunlight completely. A few unprofessional staff spoils the overall image and effort of the amazing team. nothing at all I have stayed in the hotel 3 to 4 times and will certainly return. The veiw is blocked by other building. There is a window bettwen the bathroom and the living/bed room, however u cant see the tv from the bathroom, u can only hear the tv sound :(. Housekeeping was bad, unfortunately no action was taken when I complain, Noisy construction nearby hotel, and pool was too small for this huge hotel. The area of this hotel is a nightmare if you are driving, there are certain times where it will take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1:30 hour to enter and exit. N/A. Nothing. The traffic while leaving the hotel. The breakfast at the executive lounge was limited. The bathroom would completely flood everytime we took a shower. there is absolutely nothing to unlike about this hotel. maybe just to increase the number of the reception counters ?. The area is continuously changing and there is plenty of construction close by. Depending on the height of the new building across the street, the hotel will lose a part of it's nice view on the sea and beach. The noise level is ok if you do not use the terras. Dubai Marina is a popular area and quite crowded (cars) late afternoon and evenings. Internet kept disconnecting at times. I really hated the renovation and the hotel door. Because the alternative door hit my wife's thigh and it bruises. It's so painful. But thank god I'm a doctor and I'm managing that. If it happens to others, they might sue the hotel for this incidence. Pillows were a bit old. The rooms showed wear & tear as walls were scratched & furniture was stained. It took more than half an hour to check in and there is a lack of response from the house keeping to get a baby cot into my room which took 5 hours and 4 calls to remind them. On our first night was given a double room instead of a twin. N/A. I made a reservation for a room with sea view, and I paid for that, unfortunately the room assigned was not with sea view and I was disappointed for that. I didn't like when I found out what in side the box of pizza promotion.
