The horizontal distribution of all the units, and the availability of the pools which suits the family gathering, staff is really helpful and kind. Had a great time with my family as we were celebrating our father's birthday. I would definatly recommend this hotel to all my friends' families as it's one of the few resorts that suits and respect our traditions as local muslim families where we found similar families with great level of satisfaction about this issue.
all reviews » We loved the staff, very helpful, we are going there once or twice per year and it still best service ever. We don't have to wait for 3 for the check in, they always bring water or other things complimentary , no extra charge, they let you use the facilities even if you check out. Its clean, rooms are big, the receptionists are extremely nice and helpful. Me and my husband loved it and we will go back as soon as we have offs. Worth it. Location was definitely in a perfect location near the sea front and excluded from other hotels and shops. Great place to relax as the location is quiet. The bed has to be comfortable! And it definitely was! Plenty of complimentary water in the rooms and had enough condiments and refreshments. I would like to thank Sief for his wonderful customer service as we arrived. He welcomed us with a smile and he was very friendly. well the resort was beautiful with private beach, we were upgraded to delux room and also since it was my wife's B'day hotel had provided with a beautiful cake and a fruit platter. that was really nice. actually one of my friend who had stayed here recommended me the place and mark my word it was worth it. I had stayed in raddison in Prague and had a very good exprerience. thanks a lot. Overall , We really enjoyed our stay and the Arabian restaurant was good. We found Philip to be a fantastic and attentive waiter, please let him know how happy we were with the service. The staff were really friendly. The dive centre was close to the room and it made my life easier. Breakfast is gr8 as usual. This is not my first stay in this hotel. The room was clean and the facilities are good. They allowed us to checkout around 2:00 pm which made our life easier. Room was spacious, modern design and clean. Full of light and great view of the ocean. Beds were very comfortable and nice deep bath. pools are well located to rooms. Room service is great. Food is delivered on a table with wheels and warmer for food and beautifully presented dishes. They team accommodated our special needs. We were in town for a long (72Km) adventure race. The staff accommodated our early wake-up time requirements and were flexible with our late arrival as well. As for an earlier stay in the same hotel, I stayed in a refurbrished room where all furniture and bathroom are renewed and highly eligent and so I was excpecting the same in the 3-bedroom suite and thus worth the 3000 aed a night, but to my disappointment it was still not renewed and old. Food, we didn't like the food. It is quite expensive and honestly not worth it. However the prices are the same as for any 5 start hotel. Some of the prices for the meals on the room service menu were a bit expensive but they were very nice so it didnt matter to much as we enjoyed the dishes we ordered. i had noticed that on arrival our credit card was blocked and we were charged for the blocked amount plus we were charged for the actual amount spent. the same was not informed to us about the refund will take 15 days. upon calling back the resort after 5 days we were informed the same. The beach had rubbish on it, should be cleaned up please! We were picking up rubbish ourselves( other people's rubbish) the food at the beach restaurant was very poor and disappointing ,simple fresh food prepared with care would be much appreciated. I'm not sure the chef's expertise is up to standard, maybe some more training ?. The resturant facing the beach in the main buildig is so slow in service we had to call him or signal to several time so he can notice us. They were serving shisha in that resturant, however, they were preparing it infornt of the kids play ground exposed with no one from the stuff to be there which made me worry all the time. During the checkout we had requested for some one to carry our bags but no one showed up tell half an hour later. Check-in process was slow Swim up bar stools are not deep enough in the water. Drinks service around the pool near lobby would have been good, instead of having to walk and order. Restaurant (Breeze) range of food in buffet is not extensive. Even though the hotel was nice having a nice beach front location, there is not much to do or see in the nearby towns. Food quality at the hotel restaurants was average. Service in all the bars and restaurants was so slow. It took 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive in happy hour so we missed the chance to order a second one. I had a bad fall in the lift because the floor was slippery after swimmers had used it. You really must change the flooring otherwise accidents will be a regular occurrence. The receptionist didn't seem very concerned about this, or me.I Hesitate to recommend the hotel until there is more attention to speed and quality of the service. Though our suite was very comfortable and clean it is looking a little tired...carpet and upholsery need attention as does some general maintenance. This did not detract from our stay though. the open buffet was pour and not tasty, petter to order out of it ,I think they have different chief for each restaurant . The food isn't great. We ate breakfast and dinner at the main buffer restaurant 'Breeze' and while it was good it was not what I would expect for the price of the hotel. However, the two lunches we ate at the beach cafe were very tasty. Considering overall experience I won't say its a big negative but there was a strange odor every time you enter room. Other than that Room was great. nothing. Nothing. The waitresses are very laid back and hard to get attention from.. so dont expect rapid service. Slow housekeeping service, the rooms feel old and rusty, the tv in the living room of the two-bedroom apartment we booked didn't even work. The staff didn't know much about the activities that could be done outside the hotel, the watersports center did not have half the activities that were advertized on their collateral and the staff are not well-trained. Noisey rooms at night and music playing in the corridors in the early morning. None of the staff ever looked to see if you need anything at a restaurant. All week I had to constantly get up from my table to go and order. Except for the desserts, the buffet is just terrible. (panfried Frankfurter saucisses and big-pot macaroni on a Spanish Evening...?) Unpleasant, sterile restaurant. No wifi in the room. We had a neighbour who started playing very loud music at 4.30AM! It took almost 2 hours and multiple calls to the front desk to get this stopped. Our whole stay was ruined due to this. It was not the hotel's fault...but overall for us, it was a bad experience. Dinner buffet was very limitted and did not look good. The food on offer was of poor quality especially at the Arabian restaurant. Tasteless soup followed up by dry overcooked fish which had extremely hard burnt skin in addition to poor mashed potatoes. Not a good experience I would not revisit this restaurant and it tainted an otherwise good experience. 1. Signal of Du telecommunication company does not exist in the rooms at all and rarely exists in the hotel's facilities. As if you were in the middle of no where. 2. The Gym is very poor in the sport equipment: only two Running machines and one of them was broken down; and the TV screens on the equipment have no clear signal. 3. Vehicles' passage to/from hotel's reception is very narrow and cannot comfort two cars. The consistency of food and service were lacking. the food was no way near 5 star more towards 3 star. bed was not comfortable along with the pillows although it looked very good. Stained carpet in the room, limited choice of restaurants. Lack of F&B variety, not convenient for long stay. No entertainment in the evening except for belly dancing on Saturdays that you get charged for. I found the bed very uncomfortable. The first room assigned had no view and less furniture then I expected. Too noisy and directly over and near childrens play area. Pool was cold. Food was not up to the mark. Quality and varieties didn't reach 5 stars standards. Not enough sun beds next to the pool and no changing rooms and towel services next to the pool only one and it was far. the restaurant by the beach service sucks .. i asked for a fish and chips .. they offered me unfresh food .. wen informed the chef .. he said the money cudnt be refunded .. i had to order something else .. i specifically told em its okay i'll hve a pizza instead but later .. but they got the pizza immediately which i had to eat later all cold .. plus they r always missing .. u hve to locate the waiters. The food in the main restaurant did not meet my expectations for a 5 starts hotel. Food was not upto the mark. Waiting so long for the food in restaurant. Too many flies, probably due to the time of the year. Unpleasant smell outdoors at the eastern end of the resort. Pool areas need more shade, especially the kids pools. Food is nothing special and overpriced.
