Great FandB and great value for money. The room service food was exceptionally good, and great care was given to the presentation. Food warmers ensured the correct temperature. We loved it so much the first night, we decided to order room service for the second night too!! Too bad that we could'nt stay longer to try the restaurants...but definately on our next visit. The breakfast wasexcellent with a vast array of choices including vegetarians. Thecustomer service was superb!. Stayed for a long weekend. The hotel is lovely, the location and facilities are excellent. We booked half board and were surprised to discover that we had an a la carte choice at 3 restaurants instead of the usual buffets. The food at this hotel is superb and the desserts are to die for. Will definitely be returning again. We felt like if we are at home, we were really relaxed all the time, living in another world where we could only hear the sound of the sea. The staff were very nice and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay to the extend that we reserved for another time within a week.... It was really an uninterrupted relaxation.The place was fantastic. Room were beautiful and clean. Food, well the chefs are top level and it's the best food we have had at a hotel for a long time. But the best thing and greatest pr for the hotel is the service from the staff. Better than anything we have encountered and puts dubai hotels to shame. I liked the wide range of facilities and services available for people of all ages and intersts. it was a very peaceful setting with little noise and disturbances from traffic etc. The staff were very helpful, courteous and friendly. Being so close to the beautiful beach and was excellent.The sight-seeing was really beautiful and during this time of the year the weather was really great. Relaxing atmosphere and layout of the pool/beach area. The restaurants were very good and reasonably priced. View from the room was fantastic and we loved the shower/bath open view to the ocean!. Graciously being allowed to check in an hour and a half before the stated check-in. Being upgraded to a Deluxe Room. The complimentary beach shoes. The food was delightfully presented. Excellent hotel for a family location. The special rate we had of 680 AED per day (for 5 days) including breakfast is just fantastic value for money in the region. The only complaint I have is that we were put in a twin room and as the hotel was fully booked we were surrounded by young children who liked to scream and run around slamming doors at all hours. As the hotel corridors are tiled instead of carpeted the sound was very loud and didnt make for a very good night sleep. Watch the pillows on the bed, if you are used to firm or semi firm bring your own.We had a ground-floor room, and there was a noticeable smell when one went out onto the balcony. It smelt like cat droppings, but I think it was either fertiliser or insecticide put on the hedge which fronted the balcony. Didn't get 'half board' right on the bill.Although the restaurants are excellent quality, it would be nice to have a restaurant with a buffet option, especially if you are traveling with little children. the room service where abit slow....an hour to collect the tray etc!. Yes the fact you have to pay for late check out , not enough food at the Arabic restaurant per serving . Not enough boats available for snorkelling around Shark island . just that it has too many flies on the beach. couldn't even have al fresco breakfast in peace coz there are flies everywhere..Nothing major, one small issue, you could have more of the salad bar in the babecue dinner - more rich. No laundry bag! Specifically for wet clothes since its a beach resort,they should expect guest to have wet clothes.They won't let me live there!. Only that the Japanese restaurant didn't have a menu with prices at the door. we loved everything about the hotel,and have already recommended the hotel to friends and co-workers.. Very noisy due to Harley Davidson convention. Bikes were great but too noisy at midnight going up and down.the food prices of the restaurants. Hotel just beeing away from city should one need things from the souk. The games for kids were not maintained properly. Need to upgrade the games.All the restaurants were good but very little choice for the Vegetarians . its far a way :). rather noisy especially on a Friday night..(their Sunday). Actually I had to stay ina que for more than 30 minutes to check-in, butfinally one lady from the reception explained to me that they have 120check In/Out at the same time.Breakfast. We liked everything. The food was expensive specially the arabic restaurent. The cost of coffe, tea, soft drink, food is very expensive. And the foodtast is not delicious and the buffet of breakfast is very poor andhaven't variaty of muslim pepoles food.
