  Desk manager was excellent, as were front desk employees. We had a problem with a trainee front desk staff; 1st) the trainee made my wife pay a deposit before they would give her the key. Ok, understood. But I spoke to the manager and explained that I had booked it on my visa and would pay in full upon my arrival from dubai later in the evening, a... what people say » nd that my wife's money was for her and the kids to go to wadha mall, eat and do some shopping. The manager was very apologetic and refunded the mone - It is a lovely hotel, pure luxury in Emirates style. The room was a good size and beautifully decorated. I had a good view of the city. The rooftop pool was heated and a nice way to get some exercise. Since taxis are relatively cheap in Abu Dhabi, I used them to get around. But the bus station is literally right across the street so you could easily use buses to get around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Millennium and would stay again!

  My husband and i went to St. Regis for his bday and we took our little daughter with us. We enjoyed every minute of the stay. There was not a single flaw in the service. The butler service was great. the beach was spotless. The staff were extremely friendly. And ofcourse the food was really good. We would definitely go back there. - The hotel is ... what people say » very large and well planned with well appointed rooms. It was an enjoyable experience and worth the 5 star rating. Staff were attentive and eager to please (possibly due to it being Ramadan and very quiet). Very little to complain about - we had a junior suite of 85 sq m and this was ideal for the three of us.

  Every member of staff we met was friendly & welcoming, which was so nice. There was even one gentleman from the Blue Bar -sorry, his name escapes me - who recognized us from when we stayed in the Hilton Corniche earlier this year - it felt like meeting old friends. Even though my check out time was before the dining room opened they brought me some coffee and croissants. Plenty of quiet places for meetings with clients.
