What people say
A warm welcome even though we were 2 working men amongst a majority of retired holiday goers. A lovely room on the 4th floor although a little too warm. Nice breakfast with no fuss although 8am was a little late for us as we tend to start at 7am. Good location if the seafront is your thing with plenty of parking.
we thought the staff were excellent. The food was better than expected from a hotel serving such a large number of meals. Everywhere was very clean, and all the staff were clean and well dressed.all reviews »

Being upgraded free of charged made us feel valued.
Location, good sized car park, the friendly receptionist.
Good room; good bar.
Good service.
close to beach and shopping.
breakfast.
There was nothing we did not like but we were very glad that we had a front room overlooking the sea [209] this made it that bit more special.
Room wallpaper peeling handle pulled off in bathroom. Dining room staff not attentive waited too long for what was an average meal, no drinks offered all meal had to ask for table to be cleared. Staff too busy resetting tables to serve as well.
Serving member of staff at the breakfast was grumpy and did not ask for our choice if bread and egg.
Free bottled water in the room would have been appreciated.
The room was a bit dated, there is only one small lift (I was on the 4th floor). The evening meal in the bar was mediocre at best, the breakfast had its good points but the fried egg you could have played tennis with - cold and rubbery!.
Taps - could do with mixer taps. Creaking floors.
poor value for money.
Bits of newspaper stuck around window frame from some long, long ago decoration. Paintwork flaking bathroom door chewed up at bottom.
