What a fantastic experience!
The manor was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The included breakfasts were hearty, lovingly prepared, and made with locally-sourced ingredients. Best of all, the owners made me feel right at home, with never-ending tea and cakes,and cookies and warm drinks delivered to my room (spontaneously and free of charge!). The owner also offered loads of helpful recommendations, gave me a lift to the train station, and offered multiple times to drive me to local sights.

The second time we have stayed here and it is as good, if not better than before. Stayed in the fourposter bedroom. The bed is very comfortable. Nancy, the owner is very welcoming and makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Homemade biscuits in the room instead of packet biscuits, which means Nancy really cares to make you feel welcome. A lovely place to stay and will go back soon.
We loved everything about our stay: Nancy, her family and helpers, the adorable rooms, the delicious breakfast, and the wonderful surroundings. The girls especially loved all the horses and watching the ponies get their new shoes. We hope to come back one day and would very much recommend Overtown Manor to others.

sponge cake when I arrived. Owner very kindly sent me back my earrings,
which I had left behind.
Everything- Nancy, the owner, was wonderful, accommodation comfortable, beautifully finished. The surroundings were spectacular. The food delicious. There was a lovely, friendly atmosphere in the house which made me feel at home.
Nancy was a terrific host and went out of her way to see that we were comfortable. She is a great cook and extremely well informed about the local area. She met us like old friends and made us feel immediately at home.
A rare gem! Everything you could wish for from a B&B - lovely, peaceful room, great breakfast and a wonderfully friendly host. You'd be mad to pass this one by. Thank you for a delightful experience!.
Nancy was very welcoming - felt very friendly. The house is beautiful, the rooms were excellant, the home made cookies were delicious and the breakfast and service was amazing......

rooms. Chose the most cosy as it was a cold night. An excellent
breakfast set us up for the day.
