Very impressed with all aspects of our stay. Very nice fixtures and fittings. Good location, very handy for the shops and leisure centre. Great value. i thought the service was great , The room given was at top quality . It was a very relaxed atmosphere and we felt very comfortable there. The friendliness of the staff the location. Nicely situated in 20 minutes from Luton airport by taxi, just 50 yards from Wetherspoon pub, 5 minutes from the bus station and 10 minutes from the railway station. Clean and cosy room. Foldable bed/sofa pefect for family with children. Good glazing: no sounds from the busy street heard.It was quiet the bed was really comfortable the staff were freindly and the continental buffet was a varied variety which was lovely with brilliant hot chocolate to give you a great kick-start in the morning. It was everything I expected. I couldn't afford a lot of money and the special offer really helped me. The hotel was very clean, good facilities.. and a nice breakfast. Comfortable, pleasant hotel. Great Location. Early breakfast was excellent, especially for a Sunday morning when i had to leave early. room was exceptional. great bathroom and bed.very close to coach station / rail station / facilities. bathroom area style of the bedroom. Friendly staff. everything. It was clean, well appointed and very pleasant. I particularly like the breakfasts provided - one of the main reasons I chose HH express. the 24 hour bar to residents!. I was surprised to see that there were smoking rooms available. But as asmoker I was very happy as it meant we didn't have to leave the room tohave a cigarette!. Reception very friendly and rooms modern The hotel has great location for train station and town center. staff was helpful and breakfast was layed out well, room was laid out well. Good clean simple room, done well, good value for money. good sized room, good cleaniliness, good breakfast. Simple modern feel to the hotel. it was a relaxed enviroment. Rooms were great. We found the room very warm throughout the night, even with window open. We could not find hot food at the bar when arrived (after 10 pm).i have no complaints about the hotel. Facility for eating in the evening not available except takeaways which can be expensive for 1 person. really had to find local restaurant.Although they had crisps etc for sale when my daughter went to get some at 9.30pm only security were on and they could not sell them. check in was a bit of a muddle but ok, parking mean't i had to go back to the car for a parking voucher for the matalan car park down the road even though it was quite late saturday evening.breakfast was ok but it would have been nice to find some local English breakfast choices. breakfast was only average. slightly worried about the car park in Matalan. there was no full english options for breakfast. There was no where to park on site. We had to park in one of the town'sncp carparks. But it wasn't very clear if we could park there overnight. However, being a town centre on a Friday night, it was very noisy and there were lots of revellers in the hotel.Check in and check out was very slow and impersonal. I was hoping to watch Football on Sky Sports 1 but unfortunately Setanta was on in the Lounge and I could not get Sky Sports 1 in the room, I know this would be expensive but would be great if you had the option of paying to watch Sky like you can pay to watch movies. Limited Parking. breakfast room was understaffed, dirty dishes left in serving area -but it was Boxing day so not really a problem. Lack of car parking and need to us an unsecure town car park.Housekeeping service was poor - I think the bedsheet and pillow cases were only changed out once during my one week stay. The parking arrangements.Pillows and mattress. we asked for some pots of milk in the evening and were told they would be bought to our room but they never appeared .parking outside with restricted times,or lack, but that i suppose is the council problem. No restuarant. Car parking is an issue at Stevenage - an arrangement with the Borough Council to use the Library car park would be good. the sofa in the room very dirty/stained. The included breakfast was poor, however I can't really complain for the price. The room layout was such that the mirror didnt have a chair/table in front of it so you had to move furniture around or sit on the floor to dry your hair/do makeup. Lack of car parking facilities. lack of parking. Attitude of the receptionist. Also lacked manners especially when wrong and in dealing with discrepancies. lifts not working. no parking. the staff were surley they failed to inform me that i needed a display badge for the car park and i promply got a parking ticket i ask if my car would be alright on three occasion and was never informed of the display badge i told a very unhelpful duty manager who said they would ring me back 3 days later and i'm still waiting.
