The Inn met all our expectations, we enjoyed the walk up from the centre of St helier to the hotel. Staff were very helpful and you always got the personal touches and felt you werent one of many guests, but always treated as individuals. Nothing was to much trouble. The breakfasts were good. Food very fresh and tasty, not to much from a portion perspective. Our room was very modern, clean and comfortable. Clean towels every day which was lovely. Want to go back and would recommend a short stay.
all reviews » We stayed there for 4 nights and the facilities. Although it is an older style hotel the refurbishment is to an excellent standard. The rooms were clean and comfortable. DVD player and IPod dock were great extras and the staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. The in house restaurant was excellent both in quality and value for money. We were here wth two friends and found the staff in the hotel very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.The food was exceptional so no need to go any where else,this was our first visit to Jersey and we loved it so we will be back a big thank you to the staff . All staff very friendly & helpful. Welcoming atmosphere in bar, restaurant & reception. Excellent choice & standard of food. Room very clean & comfortable. Free parking close by. Excellent value for money. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and attentive. The service was second to none. There was even someone to serve us an early breakfast in the restaurant an hour before the normal breakfast time. Friendly easy going atmosphere,Staff all very helpful , Rooms well equipped and comfortable , Drinks meals etc all reasonably priced . Just outside of town but just a short walk to the bustle of St Helier. Staff were wonderful. They could not have done more for us. Food was excellent and good value. I liked the facility's got a good hair dryer in the room and free sweets and water in the room. Style of hotel meant corridors were very narrow with staircases when were tricky when negotiating with suitcases. A minor inconvenience. The long walk into town and quite a walk if you go to the beach. Some difficulty locating hotel as sign says Inn Extraordinaire rather than Inn Boutique. Noise of the traffic outside made it impossible to have the window open and it was very hot with the window shut despite the use of the portable fan. Stairs unavoidable so difficult to carry suitcase. There was no dislikes. Absence of a bath for this room. I felt the Superior room was more in line with a Standard room.The shower pressure wasnt great. Our room varden, was overlooking car park and was very noisy at times,also refuse trucks.but know that is unavoidable.Not enough drawer space,we were staying only 4 nights,so not too much a problem for us...also had to ask for tea bags on couple occasions as only 4 at time,but really not a complaint. The room was very warm and dark, 105, noisy at night (kitchen noise, maybe?) and a nest of pigeons/seagulls on a net outside window. Maybe breakfast could be server to 10 am everyday. There was nothing to dislike, however, the car parking may be a minor issue but Im sure they will sort it out. Parking - what a nightmare. After calling ahead of booking and explaining our situation we were unable to park without blocking others which meant we had to move 4 times which spoilt the evening:-(. Nothing really. Car park, but for Jersey it was good. Got confused couldn't find the hotel by the word boutique had to. Football on big screen when you want to sit and have a drink or meal in the bar, so we didn'T. FRENCH FRIES! YUK!. you are better off not taking your car just use the bus as there are plenty, run regular & reasonable with a pre booked pass.so parking at the hotel is very poor.I would not take my car again. The distance to the centre of town. Dont even get a bottle of water within the tea and coffee making facilities. The Bed was not one of the best beds I have slept in sore back every morning, bit out the town. Stayed in room 208 .. The light above the bed did not work .. And the shower was really compact .. Nothing. Room was a bit worn although the Bathroom was superb and modern The room was also very hot, thank god they put a fan in the wardrobe for you to use. Shower cubicle was very small. The local loon at the bar. Very very small car park you was scared of going out not knowing if you could park when you got back. The size of the twin room. Nothing. Size of bed and room for a superior price room. Nothing. Small car park. However, to clarify this we have used the The Inn Boutique Hotel twice before and were aware of the small car park. The consolation is that the Inn's own staff are exceptionally good at moving your car for you so that it is a small inconvenience rather than a major issue. I booked a wake up call; did not get it ! staff member a bit abrupt when challenged!. Room was clean but worn!. The horrendous noise of the party directly below our bedroom until 12:30 in the morning, followed by movement of drunk party goers in the room above us. The hotel was so busy no room for us to book a table to try the restaurant! Would not recommend this hotel. No food on arrival, requested champagne in room and it was not there, did not sleep due to noisy room- snoring from next room , creaking floor boards frim above, traffic noise, flushing toilets we left a day early.2xsandwiches cost £16.
