  The hotel was very interesting and had a real antique look about it. The bedrooms were well appointed with ;nice soaps towels etc... they even provided Sherry in the room...lovely. The bed was a kingsize madfe of 2 single beds... hence an un comfortable bit in the middle...I hate that but otherwise everything else was fab. Breakfast and service w... what people say » as lovely.... I cant waitto go back for afternoon tea sometime... thanks - The turndown service a night was a nice surprise. We loved also discovering all the different nooks and crannies of the public rooms. Delightful real fires in all public rooms including the dining room give a real country house feel.

  Room was lovely, beds very comfy, full English breakfast cooked really well including choice of haggis or black pudding. Staff/proprietors very friendly. Parking in guest house grounds was a definite plus. Enjoyed our one night stay very much. We were made very welcome along with our dog. Would definitely return. - Owners are friendly and cons... what people say » iderate. Inclusive breakfast is well cooked and well presented. Choice of breakfasts available as is a vegetarian option. Room was tidy and comfortable and equiped with the basic needs. Nothing too much bother for the owners and they go out of their way to make your stay perfect.

  I loved the scottish decor. Ie tartan carpets. Nicely furnished rooms. Friendly family feel. Best night of our holiday with live music from pure malt. Fantastic. Breakfast amazing. Very very good all round - Food was excellent and there was a great choice of whisky in the cosy and friendly bar. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return and stay agai... what people say » n soon.
