  The setting is idyllic, with wonderful views across the lake. A great venue for lovers of nature & wildlife, and particularly good for birdwatching. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and staff were pleasant and attentive. Food excellent, and a wide selection available within a choice of menus. A most comfortable and relaxing stay, and would reco... what people say » mmend highly to others, and will certainly have no hesitation in revisiting in the future. - Friendly and efficient staff (we were given print out maps of the sites we enquired about which were really useful. We also liked the fact that restaurant and Bar food was available, both with a view on the lake - we only tested the Bar which was excellent. The room, with both shower and huge bath tub, extra large and firm bed - we had an excellent night sleep. Fantastic view on the lake.

  The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the whole place was so warm, welcoming and comfortable. We'd chosen a bedroom -Cathedral - in the converted stable and it was lovely. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. A memorable stay in an idyllicl location. - lovely old house, Fabulous staff. excellent food.

  The staff were wonderful a problem with the room was resolved straight away with the offer of an alternative the food and service in the dining room were exeptional and the rooms were well equipped and cosy - Quaint old building, good breakfast, froendly staff.
