    We liked everything at Pwllgwilym. When we arrived we were met by Richard and Jane who are the most delightful hosts. Richard was full of information, including some historical details.     A lovely B&B in a historic house, , located in an idyllic area - very peaceful, beautful countryside. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for a long walk in the stunning surrounding countryside. Service was second to none. friendly and very helpful hosts. The area is great for country pursuits like fishing cycling and walking but is a fair drive for the main attractions in wales however it's fairly centrally located so you could cover a few attractions using kilsby as a base.

    A friendly welcome from Mark, not too much fuss. The whole house was beautifully presented and immaculate- I think it is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in!     The B&B is situated near the beautiful Brecon Beacons NP and is easy to find. Room was brilliant, with a gorgeous four poster bed situated as a centerpiece in the room!     we couldn't fault the Plough and Harrow. The owners were lovely, very helpful. The pub was quiet, clean and cosy and the food was very good. We loved the dog JJ who was a real character. All in all a fantastic break away in a beautiful setting and we had fantastic weather to cap it all. We also liked the fact that restaurant and Bar food was available, both with a view on the lake - we only tested the Bar which was excellent. The room, with both shower and huge bath tub, extra large and firm bed - we had an excellent night sleep. Fantastic view on the lake.
