  This was without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable UK stays I have ever had. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Though rooms were small, they were well appointed, efficiently arranged and meticulously kept. The staff was stellar, the restaurant exceptional and the location as perfect as could be. The bed was really comfortable (and huge), the hotel is in a good location with a quiet area nearby but the main town just minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  The location on the Royal Mile was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the things we wanted to do. It was easy to drive too, with easy parking behind the hotel. It was also easy to get out of Edinburgh from this location. With this in mind I will be using this hotel again for future visits to Edinburgh. - Interesting food in Tapas style bar.... what people say » Excellent breakfast buffet with good range of healthy options. This apartment hotel is reasonably priced and is brilliantly locate - Wow- fantastic hotel. We got it for a really good price through letsbookhotel.com and our stay was perfect. The staff were brilliant and so attentive allowing us to check in early and assigning us to a fab room. The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers. The service wasfabulous and the hotel was fantastic - will be returning - I travel an awful lot and I must say the Scotsman is one of the best hotels I have ever been in.   After reading the reviews,we didnt have high expectations but for us we just wanted a place to put downs our heads for the 2nights we were there.But i have to say the room was immaculate and was way above our expectations.   Great to have so much space. The apartment was very tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a great time sitting at the widow "people watching" on the royal mile. A perfect location. would highly recommend it - Easy to get to, extremly comfy, clean and lots of little extras you dont get in a hotel.
