    Made to feel at home, excellent facilities for the money. good central location for working in Great Yarmouth also close to seafront but far enough away from main strip that there were no noise incursions.     Mark & Jacqui (managers) are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your holiday - nothing is too much trouble for them. Wi-Fi access is very good - the brochure states it is available in public rooms but we could access it in the bedrooms which were well appointed.     My Husband & I stayed at Ashdene house for two nights over spring bank holiday. The proprietors Annette & Gill are so friendly & very welcoming we had tea & cake on arrival nothing was to much trouble for them. tBreakfast was lovely everything you wanted home made bread & jams & full English.everywhere was spotlessly clean... what people say » our room number 2 was moden and nice with tea & coffee & t.v. Just a short distance away is sandringham and many more lovely places. - Gill and Annette made you feel at home as soon as you met them, we were welcomed with a cuppa on arrival, nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed an extra 2 nights. The breakfast set you up for the day and the home made bread was lovely. We highly recommend Ashdene House and we will be back if we are in this area again.

    Loved how big the room was! Very spacious, clean, comfortable and above all else, great value for money. They are rooms attached to a pub, which I didn't realise when booking, but the lady who runs the place is lovely and was happy to help. No specific checkout time which is great! And they make you breakfast for the time of your choosing as well.... what people say » Really was a great place to stay. - Such a lovely place to stay, the staff are very accommodating and the bar is great to have a couple of drinks or a game of pool. The view from the beer garden is amazing and feels like you're miles from the city. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet place to stay within walking distance to the city center.

Number 17 is a great place to st - We liked everything about this guesthouse from its location and the no- nonsense welcome and clear instructions of the owner, to the generous room size and comfortable bed. Nearby we found a great place to eat called Last Wine Bar & Restaurant and in the morning back at Number 17 were served perfect Full English and kippers for our breakfasts.

    We'd spent the afternoon sightseeing in King's Lynn but none of the hotels we found advertised in kl sounded as interesting or as good value as the Crown, so decided to drive the 7 miles out of kl and enjoy the lovely rural scenery along the way.     I booked the King Room on the first floor (stairs: this is a pub after all) for only one night during my trip from London to see the Walpole/Hermitage collection at nearby Houghton Hall. The inn is situated on the main road through the village, but traffic was sporadic and did not disturb.     We booked a one night stay to extend our holiday in Norfolk as the weather was so good. We arrived hot and gritty from a day on the beach to a warm welcome and were shown straight away to a lovely clean room. We were asked when we wanted breakfast and made arrangements to dine that evening.
