Very easy to find from the train station. Elevator available (although it's soo slow). Free WiFi was very smooth (although only in the common area). Helpful staff, suggested me alternatives of transport and calling a cab for me. Comfy bed, love the comforter. Surprisingly the room is quite sound-proof from the noise from the street. Nice bathroom with handheld shower! Free map provided.

    Very clean, very smart and I would thoroughly recommend. I travelled with my two boys (11 and 12) for the Open at Muirfield and was great for access to Edinburgh Waverley whilst being right next to Calton Hill and 15 mins from Arthur's Seat (bottom not top) for the great views of Edinburgh. - The apartment was an excellent choice for our stay in ... what people say » Edinburgh.     Everything about this place was great. It is student housing which gives you the feel of communal living with the option of having your own room if you want quiet time. My family and I loved it. The bed was comfortable with nice white cotton bed-linen. We stayed for 3 nights for the Festival and found it ideal to be so near everything + able to make tea etc.. in between shows!

    Starting from travel from airport to apartment, we got a bus from airport which dropped us on Princess Street and the apartment was hardly 4-5 minutes’ walk. Even with luggage and young kids, it was easy to manage to reach from princess street to Queens Street where apartment was located. Apartment is spacious, big 2 rooms, big living room with window opening on Queens Street and nice kitchen. Cleanliness, nice c - When we arrived, I had my login in number incorrect. We were immediately assisted by a very friendly person on the other side of the intercom. When we got into the apartment, it took our breath away. It is absolutely stunning. Everything was perfect. I will always stay there when visiting Edinburgh. It is highly recommended for self catering. Cannot get better. We loved it!

    The apartment was simply amazing! Everything that one needs for a few days was there. A complimentary choice of coffee and tea was included. Also there was a milk box in the fridge. The apartment was spacious, clean and very modern. Within the walking distance from the center. Underneath the apartment complex is a Sainsbury supermarket were you can get almost everything you need.     Heather was extremely nice and welcoming during our stay and we had a wonderful time at The Hedges. Breakfast is excellent and more than readies you for a full day of walking around the city. The rooms are very comfortable and well-decorated, and Heather has managed to retain the charm of the historic building while still making it warm and friend... what people say » ly. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. - The owner, Heather - she is lovely, extremely helpful, makes you feel very comfortable, and genuinely cares for you. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room itself is very charming. The room was cosy, beautifully decorated, and charming. The shower was also excellent. Attention is paid to every detail, and I would definitely come back there!

    It has a good location, in the city centre, very easy to get to the shuttle bus that goes to the airport, near the hostel there are some nice bars with live music.     Our host, Sohale (not sure how to spell his name) was outstanding. Very nice, He was happy to make phone calls for us to gather info we needed. He is from Edinburgh and was very informative regarding the area and attractions.     I highly recommend Caravel Guest House. It’s located in the centre of the New Town close to the railway station and the shopping area. The rooms are cozy and the toilets are very clean.
