    I'm on gluten free diet - had no problems whatsoever. The chef even amended the Valentine's Day menu in the Grill Room. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. The rooftop hyropool was wonderful. - The upgrade to our room was very comfortable and appreciated. The staff were all very helpfull and friendly.

    Breakfast was good value - just over £8 for unlimited buffet (inc. cooked breakfast) and unlimited Costa coffee. My bedroom was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Location good - 5-7 mins walk to Princes Street and 10-15 mins walk to Royal Mile/castle. Haymarket train station 2 mins walk away - for trains to Glasgow (and to Waverley if ... what people say » you don't feel like doing the 20 min walk). Murrayfield and Tynecastle about 20 mins away by foot, if you're catching some sport while in Edinburgh. S - Fabulous hotel. Staff were great, everybody was friendly and polite and went out of their way. Location is super, 2 minutes walk from haymarket station and 15 walk into Edinburgh city centre. Buses stopped outside the hotel to go to Princes street if you didn't fancy the walk. Food was good, we had breakfast and was lovely with lots to choose from. Didn't eat there otherwise but saw the food and it looked very nice. Rooms and beds clean and comfy. Great hotel.

    Lovely room, beautiful decor. Great meals. Very convienent location to shops and attractions. Helpful and friendly staff. Internet access. Lovely park opposite hotel. - Very helpful and friendly staff, particularly at reception. Excellent parking arrangements. Wonderful view from bedroom.

    This hotel is like my view of an old hotel should be steeped in history and splendour. It was a pleasure the rooms are not modern although they do have the touches like the plasma tv and modern bathroom. Overall I would not change anything about the hotel it was perfect.     The location is fantastic, just 100 meters from Haymarket station and also easily accesible from the airport. Besides, the main attractions are also located within walking distance. No sweat! The room and its facilites were good enough: great enough, featuring coffee machine and free wifi as well. Needless to say, the room was clean. Breakfast was... what people say » also great. Definitely I would come back to this hotel, while travelling to Edinburgh again. Thumbs up! - The attention of the staff to make sure you were settled in. The staff had put on the heating in the room in advance so it was lovely and warm. I was leaving before breakfast started and they had laid out cereal and toast making facilities to use. They have spent a lot of money on new carpets and upgrading bathrooms to make them clean and very fresh. Very strong and secure wi-fi Puts a lot of the big brands to shame

    The corridors were quite dark but when my room door was open it was fabulous - I loved the decor of the room, the bathroom was enormous with a fabulous shower and it's got to be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. The staff were great, the lady that sho - The hotel was convenient to both old town and new town areas. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We ate at both restaurants downstairs and really enjoyed them. The room was not huge, but it was very nice, clean, and had a large bathroom with a large walk in shower. The airport shuttle is right across the street and there are always taxis waiting outside.

    The staff were so welcoming and helpful with information about Edinburgh, as it was our first visit. It was clean and the food was good. - We could not fault the staff or room in this hotel. We had a great stayand the staff were very friendly.

    We stayed at Dunstane city hotel during our business visit to Edinburgh University. Hotel is located in very quiet area and at the same time is in walking distance from city center. Rooms are very comfortable, warm and clean. Staff is very friendly.
