    We had a wonderful stay there. A nice pub in the middle of the New Forest. Lovely renovated room separate from the pub so very quiet and peaceful. A full English breakfast was included that was much more than we could possibly eat. Log fires, great home-cooked food, perfect setting. Very clean, fresh, well designed rooms slightly separate from main pub. Couldn't have been better. - I absolutely loved the staff, especially Simon and Ged. The place really felt like a home away from home, and I felt like a 'local' even though it was my first time there and I was travelling alone! I also tried the chili, and it was delicious.

    Extremely personal service - welcome with tea/coffee and home made cake (free throughout the stay whenever needed). Good information and reviews about where to eat, also walks/maps for exploring. Breakfast was locally sourced as far as possible and fairtrade if not, plus in the 'snug' local beverages available.     Very homely place, comfortable bed, our room was clean and warm. We received a very warm welcome from the owners on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The tea and coffee making facilities were just outside our room and proper big mugs and a coffee canister, not like the usual sachet ration of 1 or 2 each so able to make coffee as often as w... what people say » e wanted (I will take my dressing gown next time so can nip out in my P J's to make a cuppa early morning). Breakfast was very good, loved the fresh f - The Kingsley is ran by a really friendly couple. My room was lovely with a comfy bed and good quality bedding. I had booked the wrong room by mistake and wanted an en suite so they were happy to get another room ready for me at 7pm. Didn't stop for breakfast but they filled my coffee thermos with great fresh black coffee! Will be booking again!

    Having stayed in this village several times before this was the best accommodation by far. Fantastic location, lovely room - very clean, warm and cosy with a very clean and well equipped bathroom. Great bar area downstairs with friendly staff.
