  Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet area to stay in. Very nice modern pool with hot tub and sauna & steam room and family changing rooms. Modern hotel throughout. There are shops and Farnborough centre nearby (walking distance away) which is handy. - The atmosphere is modern and chilled while maintaining a cosy edge.   At the Meon the staf really shone, Holly who was our waitress in the evening was excellent, we felt very special, Tania was equally fantastic who looked after us at breakfast. The reception staff were also helpful and found us dressing gowns without question, well done great service all round. Food was excellent as was the service everywhere. The leisure facilities were very good and well maintained, just a shame the Sauna was out of order. We had a very pleasurable stay and would come back again.

  I had a very enjoyable stay at the Barcelo Basingstoke Country Hotel. I found all of the staff very friendly and happy to help. The food was excellent and there was a varied choice on the menu.   We enjoyed the spa and also found the attention to detail and service by the staff to be of a very high quality. We were pleased that the rate offered meant that we were able to visit a hotel we had long wanted to visit. - Staff very friendly without being overpowering, food excellent, spa facilities very good. Overall a very relaxing weekend
