  Bed was comfortable and we had a quiet area to stay in. Very nice modern pool with hot tub and sauna & steam room and family changing rooms. Modern hotel throughout.   Fantastic environment for a family trip to marwell zoo! We loved theattention to detail in the hotel and rooms even down to the animal printmugs and penguin biscuits!   The location of the hotel was perfect. Just off the motorway, but set in lovely wooded gardens so therefore not much noise. In fact, no noise, with window closed! Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and something for everyone. Would def recommend this hotel, and would use it again myself. - Pretty good actually, free swimming pool, gym facilities... what people say » and steamroom.I had a very relax weekend in the hotel.

  The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was brand new, well decorated, fairly spacious and very clean. Loved the pool and steam room! Breakfast was pretty good with a wide selection, but the evening meal was pricey and not great. The Thai Green Chicken was basically just a large lump of chicken breast with a bit of sauce. However the Se... what people say » lection of Cheeses was delicious, as was the wine. - This was a first class experience; delicious breakfast, and other meals, cheerfully and efficiently served, with helpful and pleasant staff everywhere. The estate was lovely, and the layout of the hotel made sense. The rooms were beautifully kept and appointed, and the place was restfully quiet at night. Amenities were enjoyed, and were well appointed and operated. We have no negative comment.

  At the Meon the staf really shone, Holly who was our waitress in the evening was excellent, we felt very special, Tania was equally fantastic who looked after us at breakfast. The reception staff were also helpful and found us dressing gowns without question, well done great service all round. Food was excellent as was the service everywhere.   The initial reception was excellent and friendly. The staff were very attentive and polite and the cleanliness of the hotel was beyond reproach. It has been the best experience of staying in a UK hotel and would recommend it. They should be congratulated on such a lovely service provided.   Enjoyed the pool, it could have been warmer, as it is small needs to be warm enough to just play around in, the temp it was you really needed to swim a lot, not dig enough for that. - The food was really outstanding, and I immediately booked at the hotel for a further weekend away.
