  We Booked into the Glenesk hotel for just a few nights in February 2013 as I was viewing property in this lovely area, (which I luckily got) and reading the on-line reviews liked the look of it. This is actually a very hard review to write for me, I don't usually have that problem!! but will do my best as I enjoyed my stay so much it is hard to cr... what people say » iticise it. The Staff are GREAT, I did not meet one member of staff who was not First Class, from reception, the bar and restaurant nothing was too mu - From the moment of arrival, the welcome was amazing, they bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable, well fed, and relaxed. Great staff, great feel, has to be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, and due to business, I stay in a lot of hotels! They really did have the personal touch!   Was a bit wary given the bad reviews, but this was a fantastic experience. Lovely old castle with modern facilities, friendly staff, peaceful location with large grounds, huge beds, superb breakfast, and the gym and pool facilities were top class.   arrived shortly after 2pm on the Friday, swiftly checked in by the friendly receptionist, we payed on arrival and were quickly given our key cards told of all the facilities within the hotel. The hotel was busy with christmas parties but we expected it to be and it didn't dampen our moods. Great location off union street and pubs and clubs all dow... what people say » n the street. Even though it was busy with the windows and curtains closed we couldn't hear a thing and both slept great on the big comfy beds. Room a - The park inn is modern and very well done I.e décor and layout, being a smoker I liked the section of outdoors within the building which is a great idea saving you from standing out the front. Its in a good position for shopping etc. breakfast was inc and was of fair to good quality, however some items did lack flavour. All staff were very polite.

  Everything was excellent. Staff friendly and accommodating, room immaculate, bed comfortable, bathroom immaculate - lovely big bath - plenty of hot water. Absolutely delighted with the hotel and I've already recommended it to others. - Hotel was clean and the staff were very attentive. Would stay there agina and recommend it to friends.

  have travelled lots and this is the most efficient, speedy and stress free check in and check out I have experienced. Had stayed at many hotels with no lift so my mother in law was pleased to have one at your hotel. Had a nice meal with friends downstairs.   Skene Suites Holburn far exceeded our expectations. We had booked a 3 bedroom suite as we were grandparents and parents with 2 year old and 4 month old baby. I cannot speak highly enough of the suite we had- masses of space, lovely lounge , excellent and well equipped kitchen . very large bedrooms - in fact perfect for our needs. Yet, the room facilities and the entire hotel facilities are offering more "Luxury" for all guests. All properties are located at the quiet residential areas lined with traditional architectures.
