    Set in a quiet location, but very friendly and welcoming. David and Linda made you feel at home and are very nice people. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful gardens and facilities such as swimming pool and tennis court. Please note the review asks us to comment on Truro a city which is not one of our favourites. Chycara is half way between Truro and lovely Falmouth.

    Everything there was nothing that either me or my partner could fault. Oh expect the size of the towels but that is more of a prefrence. However apart from that, The owners were very lovely, and wonderful, making you feel at home. Breakfast was the best breakfast i have had any where. we are defenitly going to be staying again :) - Great place to... what people say » stay, just outside Newquay so it's a little more peaceful with Lusty Glaze Beach a 5mins walk away. The property is kept really clean and the owners John and Kay are really friendly and helpful. We have now been twice and plan to return again in the near future. Oh and the Breakfast is spot on.

    This Spa-hotel is brilliant! Even if you don't pay for the spa treatments (such as massage), you still get free use of jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and swimming pool!! I cannot fault this hotel, it was well organised with helpful friendly staff, excellent facilities in the room and throughout the hotel. The pool was warm, and clear, with perfect steam room, sauna and the bubbliest jacuzzi. Having complimentary bath robes and slippers was delightful, and there were plenty of teas, coffee and shampoos in our room and the shower was hot and powerful.     The hotel has a fine location on a height on the outskirts of St. Ives, reached by a very narrow driveway. Our room had a spectacular view over the coast and town. It was nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel makes it a good base for walking along the North Cornish coastal path. We would certainly return to the Ga - Everything. It has a lovely relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I would describe our stay there as a five star experience from a three star hotel. Whilst it may not be the cheapest place to stay, you gets what you pay for and with this hotel you get a lot. St Ives is a magical place to stay and this hotel just is the icing on the cake.

    The hotel is beautifully decorated, with excellent facilities. Our room was very comfortable, looked lovely and had doors opening onto a decking/garden area (just a shame it was raining the whole time!)     We stayed for a two nights, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff we very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and a good size, the same applies to the bathroom. the facilities were excellent and a very good beakfast that set us up for the day. The hotel is situated within a short walk to both the town centre and beaches..     St Mellion is a superb place to stay. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with in-room tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The health facilities and the golf course looked great too, albeit our stay was primarily to visit friends in the area and so we were not in the resort long enough during any day to take full advantage of even the swimmi... what people say » ng pools or the restaurant. Hopefully, we will be able to return in the future and will then plan to spend more time indoors and enjoy the pool etc. - Only on site for 10 hours (arrived late and left early) - but what I sore was all good. Breakfast options on the day start from approx £5 if you want tea and toast, lots of options up to the £12.50 full English which was very good. Spa looked great, would have loved to have spent more time there. The place was apparently full, I sore about 6 guests during my short stay and heard no one - very quiet. Beautiful surrounds.

    We only stayed 1 night, We had a superior room and were very pleased as it was very clean and spacious. The separate spacious bathroom with a roll top bath and views down across the sea made this a very enjoyabale stay.     I was with my daughter and granddaughter who is 17months old. Our room was perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb and included in the price. If you are looking for a boutique type hotel this is not for you, but I would stay here over any boutique hotel. The setting was magnificent. Beautiful grounds and woodland... what people say » s. Even the walk back to the hotel from St Ives up the big hill was not enough to put me off going again. - The hotel was absolutely amazing! So friendly and had a lovely warm welcome and ports of smiles and politeness from all staff. Food was delicious and well presented. Our room was AMAZING, we had a beautiful view of the sea and the room was kept nice and clean everyday by the wonderful cleaning staff. We will be staying again with you in the future!     Mark and Max very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Room was large and comfortable, bathroom also large, lovely view of countryside from our room. Evenings in the bar were cosy and the locals who frequent the bar were also very friendly.
