The room was well appointed and comfortable, the breakfasts ca - The staff approach to guests always friendly and smiles. Management always on hand to assist, which they did on every occasion which I needed assistance. Close to town, easily walked. Comfortable beds, in a sparse room, which was fine for the purpose. Dining room staff extremely good and attentive, and the food first class. I ordered an egg sandwich in my room, and what arrived was the best egg sandwich I have ever had.     Mot of the staff were very helpful and courteous. especially in the dining room.... Excellent. Liked our room and the gardens, very relaxing. general atmosphere of the place very good. - the staff were very friendly and helpful.I was with my 6 year old grandson and we had problems getting him out of the swimming pool.

    We found our first experience of Jersey very welcoming because of the staff and facilities and comfort of the Shakespear. We came for the Jersey cat show and the staff were very kind and considerate towards our much loved show cat.Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and with the added comfort of a beautiful spotless clean room we will not ev... what people say » en look at another hotel when we return next year.The food is beautifuly cooked and there is plenty of choice for breakfast.The dining room is nice an - We had a brilliant (and unexpectedly extended !) stay at The Shakespeare. The room was comfortable and very well fitted out, with a superb view. The Cafe South, with similar sea views, is a delightful place for breakfast and dinner, and the food was excellent. Special mention must be made of all the restaurant staff, who were exceptionally friendly and efficient - by the time we left, we felt like we were old friends. We will certainly recommend this hotel, and wish the owners every success for
