  Thru web site we were charged excellent room rate for very comfortable bedroom in main house (first visit we stayed in the Clocktower) extremely relaxing sitting room set in lovely gardens. Great breakfast & wonderful location. Our friends, 2 other couples also stayed the weekend & were full of praise for Cantley Hall Hotels. As we have go... what people say » od friends in Wokingham, it certainly will not be our last visit. - Cantley House is a gorgeous building with bags of character and (when I stayed) blissfully quiet. There is an ongoing refurb programme, with completed areas finished to a high standard; the owners' love for the building is apparent. Staff were efficient, friendly and approachable and the room well stocked with fluffy towels, robes, and the usual tea/coffee iron etc.

  I contacted the hotel before my stay to advise of an early check in and this was noted and accepted when we arrived. Hotel was located by the river and the views were lovely. Hotel had plenty of allocated parking. Staff were friendly and polite.   The location was lovely. Beautiful grounds. We really liked the bedrooms being in a separate area and having our own front door to enter our bedroom- very nice outlook from our front window -overlooking a green field and lake.- so no corridor noise like a usual hotel. I've guessed! The stay was fabulous. Chai was incredible. He ran around and answered to all our family orientated needs. The hotel was busy, but not loud in the slightest - a feat considering there were back to back weddings, golfing guests and lots of young families. Breakfast was great. Good value too. Would definitely stay again.

  Very modern and smart looking hotel. The rooms are a decent size and the shower is incredibly powerful. Despite being next to Slough train station, there was no noise heard in the rooms from passing trains.   Having never been to the French Horn before I did not know what to expect and throughout my 3 nights, there were never a time where the staff were not amazing, the service not outstanding and the quality of comfort low. After a day, I could see the staff knew my needs/likes and would cater for them without question.   Very friendly staff, very helpful and so very polite. Breakfast suprbly cooked and fast, plus when I has for a bacon sandwich to be wrapped to eat in the car as I was running late it was quickly delivered. The rooms are fine and exactly as described, very clean indeed. You can eat in the hotel or in a Chinese just across the road. Pangborn is rural and quiet but only - Very friendly, from the moment you enter the front door. Attached Italian resturant gives excellent food and service. Although a very busy pub, the rooms are very quiet, neither my wife or myself could here any noise.would stay again
